Quoting Lego Jim .... This is really awesome. Fantastic work on the whole thing, diorama and all. Excellent job. I'm just curious, how many blue dots do you have? I might get some but I don't know how many to get yet.
Hi Jim! Thank you, I used about 3500 1 x 1 dark trans blue round plates for this Project. I used 8346 pieces give or take 10 or 20 for the Batboat project ,and I wish I had about 3000 more :-) . There not too terribly expensive but you do need a lot of them to cover a small area. Then it depends on how deep you need them to be. Also I would recommend getting light trans blue as well for shallow areas it makes for a cool effect . Hope this helps!

Quoting B. Rick hope you didn't get tired of getting compliments cause... OH-MY-GOD!!!!! One of the best, if not THE best moc of my favorite childhood tv--show! The Charger must be one of the hardest cars to build with Lego considering all the muscular yet very subtle details. And you have crammed all of it into one model! And it even holds the minifigs... Totally amazing... But the best part of it is: I still see room for improvement! ;-) There are some details I'd probably have done differently. The signature numbers on the side being the most obvious one. Hope you don't see that as critisism rather than me getting inspired by your outstanding build. And thats just for the Charger... All of your hazzard scenery builds are great. Every vehicle, every scene. The splashing of Roscoe in the creek, daisy's hotpants, Enos... But the two pics that made me laugh out loud, eventhough it's 6 in the morning are the iconic daisy laying on the roof and the Bandit passing by. Thanks for making my day :-)
Wow! Thank you very much! Yeah the numbers on the side are not correct. I just found a guy on EBay who makes custom decals so I'll be correcting this soon . I'm really happy this made your day because your fantastic comments made mine!

Dude, this MOC just kept on getting better and better. I was happy just to see the General, but then that classic 1970s police cruiser with those big lights on the roof and those silly little round hubcaps. Jumping the river was over the top, no pun intended, but then Daisy Duke in her aptly spoonerized Daisy Dukes knocked my socks off. If I were made of Lego, probably woulda' knocked my drawers off too! But you just kept pouring it on straight up and thick with brick with a cameo from the Bandit, Burt Reynolds himself! Wow, this was the most enjoyable MOC since that Chronos Time Travelling Monkey MOC from back in the day, and I actually paid him bricks for that one it was so good and made me laugh so hard.

Quoting Elvish Brick Wow! This is great! I love the detail you put in. Whenever I try to make mini-fig scale cars with that much detail, it either ends up not fitting the fig or it's way to big. I love the plates you put for the road and the way you did the water and the car sinking into it. "General Lee" is great, and I love the other cars too!
Thank you Elvish Brick I really appreciate that and I'm glad you enjoyed it! The sinking car was a time consuming, I had to reshoot it twice till I got some pics I liked . Thanks again

Quoting Tim C Looks like 'em ol' Duke boys got themselves in a heap o' trouble this time;) Excellent work, Clayton. Great work with the details. Some really key decal work in there. You captured Roscoe P. Coltrain just perfectly. I could almost hear him making that ridiculous sound as he was standing on the top of that poor police cruiser in the water. That whole progression of events was brilliant. And is that The Bandit I see. Why not? Great job, Clayton.

Quoting matt rowntRee Oh Brother, WOW! Your finest work to date. The entire story is perfectly clichéd from the show. Daisy's Road Runner? Are you kidding me?!? Thank you for not doing that Jeep she drove later on, SERIOUSLY! :P So not right for Barbara Bach. And a teaser for Smokey and the Bandit? You love to torture us, don't you? Clayton, seriously great cars in a great moc! Smiling from ear to ear with this.
Thanks brother! You know I built daisy just for you . It was just going to be the General Lee and Roscos patrol car but then I knew you would never forgive me if I left out daisy. As hard as it was to build Daisy's Plymouth and not have it look like a ford Torino there was no way I was going to build that jeep! I'm glad it made you smile brother!

Quoting D DiTorrice Wow. Your best one yet I think. The grille on the General is nicely done as well as those moonshine jars! I loved the chase. And the water! When the police car hit it, the color transition from white to blue in the transparent studs was genius. Then you've got Daisy and a yellow Torino was it? I don't know. Not to say that the cars aren't awesome (cuz they are) but what is great about this creation is how loyal it is to the show. Bridge jumps, moonshine, dirt roads, flirty ladies. You did your homework and the Dukes would be proud. And lord am I excited for the Bandit!
Wow that's awesome coming from you sir! Thank you very much Daisy's first car was a Plymouth road runner witch I built then they used a Plymouth satellite I rebuilt her car many times because it kept looking like a ford Torino to me too! I think I finely got close. Again thank you
