I decided to build another militarized Star Wars vehicle. One of the most iconic vehicles of the clone wars, the LAAT. I know it is not 100% accurate, but part of the reason for that is because I wanted it to still have a "modern military vibe". I think it turned out rather well. Hope you guys like it!
About this creation
The troops are ready to fly into battle!
The pilots of the LAAT must pass numerous flight tests with a D or better in order to qualify for the position.
The top section of the fuselage is home to many of the cooling vents and necessary sensor systems.
The backside of the LAAT. Here you can see the thruster engines, they use 100% diesel. It's great for the environment!
There is a hatch on the rear end of the vehicle for easier loading of supplies. Seriously, it's a lot easier.
Observe the front, if you dare!
Beyond the Brick:
I finally posted it, it took me long enough. I think I started this build at the end of July. Personally, I think it came out alright. Some areas are a bit blocky, but overall it's not too shabby. I am currently in the middle of another project, so hopefully I don't take two months to post that.
I WILL BE AT BRICKCON THIS SATURDAY (TOMORROW, 10.5). I HOPE I CAN MEET SOME OF YOU GUYS!
Really digging the color change, i hate the white. But how does this thing even take off? It looks like a block with stubby wings on it. Does it have like a magical floating carpet under it? No disrespect, but i'm confused.

As far as accuracy is concerned, it's not a prerequisite when your making your own version of an existing design, but for the record, I already thought it looked like the LAAT before I saw that it was your objective.
Love it, Mister. I always have a soft spot for militaristic sci fi builds. I like the bit of playability that you added in there, and as far as accuracy is concerned, it's not a prerequisite when your making your own version of an existing design, but for the record, I already thought it looked like the LAAT before I saw that it was your objective. Great work.
