[LDD] [povray] Jupiter-class mobile base
Spaceship render, Jupiter-class mobile base
About this creation

I wanted to to something similar in size to the machinator-class again, so i thought i would take itīs rough shape and do something different with it. This is the result...

-large propulsion system

- 4 main guns (capital wave motion gun turrets)

- 8 pairs of front-facing barrage cannons

- 3 main gun turrets

- top-mounted sensor array

- rear facing landing strip

- manufacturing section between engine pairs

The Jupiter is the largest mobiel object in the military fleet. Heavily armed and capable of manufacturing itīs own ammunition, it is the true core of an assault fleet.
Its classification as a mobile base stems from the fact that once it arrives on the battlefield, it seldomly moves, except to get to the very front of the battle. It is able to absorb tremendous amounts of enemy fire, therefore acting as a shield to other more vulnerable craft and works together with the machinator and astrum classes to provide resources to the fleet, like ammunition and spare parts. It works best when there are several smaller craft attached to it.

As I mentioned already, you can find the images/ldd-file in my dropbox. Link is on my mainpage.
