About this creation
The end is here. Tallix The Metal Knight!

After years in the outlands Tallix achived enlightenment and has now returned for his redemption.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
Ready for the fight with his shield and sword.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
Legs. I love the armoured and layered look to these.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
Pretty good upper legs.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
I love this layered leg covering. Really cool looking. And that red plate adds a nice boost of color.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
In my opinion the torso of this is the gem of this moc. With itís really nice shaping and angular design. The entire moc was designed to emulate the shaping on the head.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
A better look at those spikes.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
The thick arms where designed to continue that cloaked look from the waist covering.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
His sword. The red bits make this really sharp looking.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
More back shaping.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
I really love this dish to use the new connection on the heads.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
A warrior to the bone.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
Ready for the final fight.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
For the kingdom.

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
Thanks for looking!

Tallix the Metal Knight (Bio Cup Round 6)
Well guys thank you all for such a great time in the Bio Cup this year. While it hasnít been the Bio Cup of years past with all the drop outs and such it has been a great ride for me and I still love competing. Here is one final shot of all my Bio Cup entryís for this year. Even the dive suit is hidden in the back of this shot.

Bonus Round!
Packing for Brickcon! Leave me a comment if youíre going! (Sadly not taking the dragon with me this year. Taking my friend with me instead. The dragon is also due to be disassembled soon but donít fear I have a new project in the works!)

Thanks so much for a great contest.
Hope you enjoyed my entry's.

Hey Phos! I just got a League of Legends not too long ago (I'm only level 8 XD) and I was wondering if we could play some time? my username is Diodis (I know he's not my self MOC, but I like his name so I chose that lol). I'll send a friend request if you say yes. Thanks!

I'm not normally a big bio guy, but I love this. The overall shaping is very menacing, and I love the main pic with the arcing fire pieces coming off of him. Well done.

Well done to both of you. You have put me in a tight spot. I'm having trouble choosing between the finely chiseled Tallix and the bulkier Eviliki. Both MOCs are of superb technical level, and neither of you spared any effort in building and presentation. Even if I were to nitpick, I could say that I don't agree much with the hero cores on Eviliki, but I also think Tallix looked better with the visor (more "masculine").I could go with Tallix, based on the greater play-ability displayed on the pictures, but I really like how the Moaliki-Megaliki-Eviliki trio flows, it was a faultless and imaginative interpretation of the theme. I think that Phosphorous' Tallix is a grater improvement on Infernum's Tallix than Eviliki is and improvement on Megaliki. So to me, Phosphorous wins at the "I can do better!" theme we selected for the finals. My vote goes to you.

Quoting Monarth the Contrarian Congratulations on making to the finals. As for the creation itself, it is brilliant, I really like the aerial and spiked look to him and some of the techniques utilised here. The colors flow well together and the weapon looks simple but smooth. However, it doesn't look like Tallix to me. I go very much by the book and the category was quite clear: to have the moc still recognizable. While the creation looks fabulous, it has sacrificed just a little too much to look like Tallix: the proportions are very different, the face is rather too feminine and different without the visor and the dark red has switched to bright red. If even one of these three (color, shape, face) had remained closer towards the original, it would've helped a lot to gain my favor. Without these it's like I'm looking at a different character, a brilliant one nonetheless. As such, my vote goes to your opponent.
Thank you for your judging. While I respect your opinion I must say that I'm not really sure Eviliki fits with my character as well. Face isn't really recognizable, the colours are very different, and his proportions are also drastically altered from any version of Moaliki. Again thanks so much. Has been a great run!

A shining example. Literally and undoubtedly. Elegant and sleek in most parts, whilst decidedly blocky in a few other areas, give a slight disjointed feel to it. The torso seems to look shorter or less filled than it should be, but I suspect that it is the skirting playing tricks on my eyes. One thing I'm a bit sad at is the simple feet. While functional, there could have been a bit more done to them. This is still an incredibly close one, as Crowe mentioned, it is a hair's breadth of difference. My vote goes to your opponent.

First of all, congratulations on getting here! It was a good run. Now, onto the entry: It is great. Well built and with a fine shaping, quite dynamic. It does get a little odd on the lower legs, though, but not so much it ruins the whole thing. Color-wise and texture-wise its is very good (again, the legs), and I would say an improvement over the original. Also, old-style hands. Love it when people use them. But I digress... My vote is for you here, and may you have luck with the other judges as well!

I want first to say that your fear is unjustified, the theme could be interpreted either way. With the examples we provided in the description, the starting point didn't really matter except for inspiration, and your interpretation is as good as any other. I'll get on judging later today, after work. I want to be sure to miss nothing.

Quoting Clever Crowe Alright, well: the next bit will lead BOTH of my Judgements, because it's relevant to both, and the context directly affected both; in terms of quality, thematics, and style. So - to ensure that I felt like I'd passed fully Informed judgement upon each, I revisited each of the MOCs the Final-Round Builds were based on. I reviewed comments, studied the originals structures and merits, and then compared each to the Re-Imagines. As an aside before passing Judgement, I want to say that having to decide between the two competitors is an unenviable task - I found alot to like about them both; one must still stand; and one fall, however. And so: for Tallix - I liked the harrier-esque, knight-in-flight-like blades and complimenting shapes that flowed well with the Breez mask. The accessories like the stylized sword and blade-skirting also looked nice, and fit the theme. When comparing this with the Tallix hero, as well as the Mega-Tallix, however, I couldn't help but feeling like this was a small step BACKWARDS in complexity and crafting. There IS nice layering, but the limbs themselves feature less greeble closure, and the reversal you did on the taper for the LOWER legs approaching the ankles seem to have made them appear a bit too skinny at the joint(s). In the end, I liked this Re-Imagining of your opponent's Hero less than his of your Moaliki, and thus, my Vote will go to him. There wasn't much lacking upon which to equivocate this Tallix's worth against Eviliki, but in the end, it often must come down to splitting the proverbial hairs. I still congratulate you on your work in the Cup, and progressing all the way to the Finals. Cheers~
Thank you for your judgment. I fear I may have misinterpreted the theme by going for a reimangining of the original character where as infernum had gone for a revamp of Megaliki.

Quoting Cevka . Personally, I think the blue hero factory head is a bit random because that's the only blue part on this moc. It's still very good, were you going for a samurai look, because that's what it looked like you were going for. Anyways, a great moc, I wish you and infernum the best of luck! Also mind checking this out? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/370510
