Bracket 1: Gadget Mad: Show us what happens when an already loopy inventor goes entirely off the hook. Does he go the Bond villian route or is he more goofy like Dr. Doofenschmirtz? The crazier your inventor's creations the better for you!

Andrew's incredible entry.

Hi everyone,

First off, Thanks a lot to the judges! You guys are amazing!

Second, sorry for the bad pictures.

Thirdly, I'm really low on time, so just a quick description:

I got the idea for this MOC from "Get Smart." You might know that there is a character called "Dr. Claw" and I thought it would be really cool to do something with him. So, here it is! The four-armed guy is Dr. Quadrapor, famous and wacky inventor. He made a powerful Gadget loaded Robot to protect him from terrorists. The MOC depicts him in his "workshop," an abandoned warehouse building his WarBot.

I hope you enjoy!

Terrorists...

Exploding Function.

An office. I guess it isn't abandoned...

The robots and all their gadgets are fully functional.

The WarBot and Dr. Quadrapor.

Thanks for viewing!

~Mark

Very cool, Mark. I love the lab and all the stuff in it, and the robot looks great. What I'm really impressed with was the large fig legs. When I saw them, I had to look again to make sure you didn't just customize a fig. Very accurate.

Congrats on advancing, it's a nice, detailed build and I'm a sucker for a mad scientist with a giant robot!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Excellent work, your cleaner build style earns my vote. I think the colours are a tad too dark to be visually impactful, but overall a great entry.
Thanks for the vote Luke!
Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy Again a very tough decision, but you get my vote, Mark. I prefer your clean composition and little details. Now good luck with the last judge.
Thank you!

Quoting David Alexander Smith Oh man you guys put us through it. Both of you building mad professors and their giant robots, and lads with little play functions, how to chose? I've gone with your opponent, I'm afraid. I love the giant Lego legs and the feel of the lab, but his bot was a touch better, and the tower structure for the lab seemed slightly more inspired a location. Great play, you really made me think here.
Thanks for the feedback!!

Quoting Stuart Lucas Really nice scene here Mark, I like the packing cases artfully strewn around the warehouse, the bin, the office... the robots are maybe a bit blocky although I can see that's the aesthetic you were going for and the giant Lego legs is a great idea. Good luck with th other judges!
Thanks Stuart!

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) Great entry! The workshop has a real cool industrial warehouse look to it. I like the little office space too. Are my eyes deceiving me... does he still listen to vinyls?! :)
Thank you Topsy! Yes, he does... :D Actually, that guy is Phipson's Sig-fig and for some reason, his Sig-fig looks like the type of guy that still has a record player... :P
