Happy (early) Halloween!
About this creation
A few weeks ago I began to feel the oncoming Halloween buzz, so decided to make a few images based on those old monster flicks once more.

The builds are not much, but I was trying to focus on lighting and photography to create the feel of the original films.

Death of the Vampire. Inspired by the closing scene of Nosferatu 1922

The Grave Robbers. Inspired by the opening scene of Frankenstein 1931

Hunted. Inspired by a scene in the Wolfman, 1941

Monster in Chains. Inspired by a scene in Frankenstein, 1931

The Mummy's Hand. Inspired by a scene in The Mummy 1933

Absolutely stunning my dear! The photographic effects give them that classic horror movie feel. On a personal note, Wolfie's still my favorite, furry like me ya know, but I'm totally loopy over the detail you put into Frankie's cell especiallly the floor. You're a true artist and I'm your humble, if wacky fan!

Perfection! I especially like the guys hoisting the coffin, you get a real sense of the weight they're carrying. Great work here Leda, and good luck with the judges! Oh, wait...

Quoting matt rowntRee Oh my GOD! These are a master class in lighting and texture. Fantastic all around! I especially love the flagstone floor in the Frankenstein shot and the brutal light in Nosferatu. The misty moors in the Wolfman are perfect. B&W is truly a lost Art in film and photography. You have revived and done it complete justice. Outstanding work Leda! And just in time for Halloween. ;)
Thank you Matt, what a great comment! I love b&w photography and indeed b&w films. Every frame is beautiful in a b&w film.

Very awesome scenes Millie! My favourite would have to be Hunted due to its depth and the smoky, swampy atmosphere, followed by The Mummy.
