The first battle of Exileseat.
About this creation
This is a LOM Free-Build. If it needs to be in the title, I will add it, if not, I shall leave it like this.

The Lands of Mythron

The town of Exileseat has just been established by the legendary warrior and strategist, The Masked, and his group of warriors. The town is a refuge for warriors or common people who have been banished, exiled, or declared an outlaw. Any and everyone is accepted so long as they can benefit the town. People from all over Mythron have joined the town. Just after the town's establishment, the town is ambushed by a group of Mythron soldiers who hope to take the small island on which Exileseat is loacated. At the same time, a clan from Rainos, the Dragon Clan, come to take the strategic island for themselves.

Just to clarify, this island is apart of Enalica.

It got added to the official Mythron map!

some_text

The Masked leads some of his citizens to attack the Dragon Clan.

some_text

The Mythronian soldiers.

some_text

Exileseat's pond, just outside the gate of the keep.

some_text

This gives you an overall picture of the build. Sorry, my background can't completely handle a build of this size.

some_text

It is my biggest build yet! I believe it is 128 studs by 112 if I remember correctly.

some_text

Some of these pictures don't need me to talk about them, so I am just not going to comment on some of them.

some_text

some_text

This is the stable just outside of the wall.

some_text

some_text

The front of the keep.

some_text

Here you can see the back of the carriage (is that the right term? My mind is drawing a blank).

some_text

My first and thus far only attempt at rocks.

some_text

And now for the backside of the build.

some_text

The soldiers again.

some_text

The Masked's second in command leading two men to flank the soldiers.

some_text

Some men who where Banished from Enalica take the Mythronians straight on.

some_text

The horse, terrified.

some_text

A citizen, fleeing.

some_text

The front of the wagon (ah, that's the word I was looking for!)

some_text

I bought some figs in Hong Kong with these men in mind.

some_text

The Dragon Clan.

some_text

some_text

I like this shot a lot.

some_text

The back of the MOC.

some_text

I love this bush. =D

some_text

You might have seen this in other builds of mine, I assure you, this MOC was it's original purpose.

some_text

Another of my favorites.

some_text

Birdseye. This should help you to understand just how massive this is!

some_text

The final line of defense between the enemies and the citizens who are taking refuge in the keep.

some_text

The ways to the only door to the keep are very narrow, making them easy to defend.

some_text

some_text

some_text

Also bought a fig for these guys.

some_text

One of The Masked's original archers.

some_text

As you can see, two Mythronian soldiers also fled here (allegedly from some sort of crime) as well as two from Nerogue. The third man in blue is The Masked's strategy adviser. He used to serve in Mythron as well, but left after the attack on Rainos.

some_text

The front of the build again.

some_text

This citizen better hope they open the doors for him.

some_text

I love the face for the guy with the battle ax, it's just perfect!

some_text

This wagon was inspired the one in the LEGO ideas book.

Well I worked REALLY hard on this. It took 2 weeks and a 60 Euro BL order. For those of you that are NOT TFOLs or younger, that is a LOT of money =P

Anyhow, this is my biggest and most detailed MOC yet, so please rate and comment!

God bless!

Quoting That guy you saw earlier Most discussed! Nice work here! My only point would be to try to avoid straight up buildings and try to add some juts etc (although I can't talk) ;) How many points away from guild are you?
That's a good idea, I'm new to medieval buildings, so thanks for the advice! I didn't even notice it was on the explorers page until you mentioned it! I am also 2 or 4 points away from making a guild!

Quoting Ru Corder Good build, although the landscape is a bit splotchy. The photos are fantastic though.
Yeah, you aren't the first to say that about the landscape. I'm trying to figure out a better way to do it. Thanks though! I also figured out how to increase the depth of field on my camera, so it looks much better than before =)

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 I mean you should find a way to get them to understand that progressing with your movie studio by painting your walls is important for your future, you re 'money' Cal! you have a good sense of business, you where almost there, it s understandable at your age that scripting a great scenario is tough, but, you got all the technicalities to make it work already, continuing in this path might get you rich one day. you amazed me, when I wrote you re Hollywood, I did nt mess with you, by making bigger and better scenes, a little more polish and refining, you d produce a great animation, Walt Disney started like that, going like this, at 20 you could be quite the man.
Wow! Thanks Frank! I honestly don't know what I will being doing in the near future. I don't know if I will keep animating, we will just have to wait and see!

Quoting Nick Brick ;-D I like very much this extensive scene and many details.... and if you cannot paint your wall, maybe you can borrow a sky-blue sheet from your bed!! Ciao.
Hmm, that's not a bad idea. The only problem is that white serves as an all-purpose type thing, I don't know how well that would work with blue. I might try it though.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 oh yeah Cal! I love big landscapes! great attack scene! a suggestion; if possible, try to paint your room s walls light blue, it will act as sky, then, you will not have to worry as much for the background, it will also serve as 'blue screen' should you ever want to add digital effects, I used it before, and it works well, I m finishing dismantling my GF scene, and get to paint myself, so, I ll be able to revel Cybercity version 2! I hope you ll keep on cranking big scenes like this, it rocks!!!
Thanks frank! I like your idea, but sadly my parents wont let me paint my room =( Also, my next build will be smaller and more detailed, but I will probably do some more big ones later.
