Quoting Disco Chicken With a little modifying, you could turn this into g1 bumblebee!
Do you mean transform? It would take more than a “little” modifying to make it into G1 Bumblebee.

Lovely work! Ignoring the windscreen I think this is very accurate, and you've used some excellent techniques to recreate that tricky shape. Beautiful work!

That's very cool! A Beetle is not easy to build in Lego and this one is getting really close to the original. The rear is very good, the front hood, too. But the windshield doesn't work for me. The first models had a plane one, but it has never been rectangular in shape. Great job, anyway! :-))

I really like this creation, especially the rear end. I agree in places it is a little blocky, but hey this is Lego! The blacked out window is a style which is not often used and it does create a square edge. I am wondering what it would look like with no windows so you could see the interior. Overall a great moc and an easy 5/5. Welcome to the Pages :D

I have no problem with criticism and I'm aware of the faults. I'm not so happy with the front of the car, the roof should get smaller as it goes up and the fenders can't be helped as I want the same height as the front where the same peace work much better. There is an improved version in progress but it might take some time.
Quoting Henrik Jensen To me it looks like an honest attempt to recreate the tricky curves of this German Classic. To a great extent, you have succeeded, but the windshield is too Square, and the fenders (wings) needs a more rounded frontedge. The part I like the best is the rear of the car. I hope not you were offended by my criticism, it was not the intention. Keep on Building!
