M.O. Round 1: Trophy Room
"The 12 Signs of the Zodiac." You know... Leo, Scorpio, Gemini and so on. Choose any ONE of the 12 Zodiac signs and build a moc incoorporating that ONE sign into it. (in case you haven't noticed, you're only allowed to choose ONE of the twelve signs). No size limits.
About this creation
Well folks here it is in all of its glory! My entry into the awesome contest: 2013 Moc Olympics. link

Okay... Now where do I start with this one. Well this one took me a long time because I started school and I couldn't think of anything to build for the categories. But in the end I pulled it off. So without further delay I give you the Trophy Room!!

My zodiac symbol I decided to pick was taurus the bull. Thats why there is a bull mount in the trophy room next to the elephant.

So this is Taurus the bull a prized mount if I do say so myself.

And this is probably one of my favorite parts of the whole moc. I just love how the whole elephant head looks and the fact that I used a mini fig torso and arms for the tusks. Tell me what you think of it.

The table in the middle turned out nicely in my opinion.

Notice the shotgun lamp. A nice piece for any hunter.

This is without the figs and the furniture.

So I added this little safe last minute. I think it adds to the moc

4th wall: So the categories this year were a little difficult for me to wrap my head around but I managed and I hope that it will lead me to the 2nd round. But I am very pleased with the moc as a whole. It was one of my favorite builds in awhile. So now I must say goodbye and hopefully will be seeing some of you in round 2.

Until next time-Garett Smith

I really like that elephant; the design of the tusks is amazing! However, I have to agree with LCV: it does sort of dominate the room, instead of the elephant.

An elegant MOC with many great details. I feel that the elephant dominates the bull though, a stronger connection to the category would have been nice. Still, great scene.

Quoting Mohamed Marei Fantastic MOC! I'm not a big fan of dioramas of any kind but this is genius. Though I would have liked the safe to be hidden...coz seriously, who has his safe on show for everyone to see?! Best of luck!!
Thanks and well I wanted to go for a more old style look to the room and back then some times they just had their safe in plain sight.

Quoting David . Nice one, Garret! The elephant head is pure genius, I thought you cut up and glued a minifigure arms to a weird piece before I saw it was a torso. XD
