64 Gun Ship of the Line Persephone
Finally completed after over two years of design and construction.
About this creation

This ship took over two and a half years to complete. She contains approximately 4000 bricks, over 1000 of which are in the 64 brick built cannons. At full length she measures 162 studs and is 3 feet tall.

The sails and rigging are all custom made from 7 different types of string and cloth. There are 14 sails in all, each of which can be drawn up or removed. The spars are functional and can be lowered and rotated as necessary.

The crew are aboard and ready for action. There are 50 crew in total, about 1/10th the actual number for a ship of this class.

EXCELENT!! But have you considered using more smooth like pieces on the transition from the gun deck to the deck with the helm?

Impressive! Love all the detail, and the bow is my favorite design. Nothing beats a good 'ol classic pirate ship. You're set to sail the seven seas, mate!

Quoting Austin Nomorinfo Amazing ship! 5/5. The only thing I can say is that we need some close up pics of the deck and the cannons, but still a 5/5.
I have uploaded some more photos of the quarterdeck and the crew at their stations. Thanks for the comments!

This is quite the masterpiece you got here. I would love to build this type of ship, but I don't have quite enough pieces to build the shape of the hull and the other stuff.

Quoting Sebeus I It's good having you at KingsOfTheSea, I like the micro version in the pictures, it really gives it that war-like atmosphere.
Good to be here Sebeus. I've never really done much with MOCPages but I rather like the layout here.

Quoting spearhafoc ... Really nice! You did an outstanding job on the details. You have some great solutions for the hull shape and anchors. Your rigging is sublime! Keep it up! I'm currently collecting parts for a minifig scale post ship muself. Still 3K of parts to collect though, so I probably won't be uploading a WIP soon. (Don't want to post LDD files ;))
I'll be looking forward to seeing your ship then!
