MocOlympics R1: 12 Signs of the Zodiac
My take on the zodiac category is the Leo symbol, creating some monstrous results.
About this creation
Category - "The 12 Signs of the Zodiac."

You know... Leo, Scorpio, Gemini and so on. Choose any ONE of the 12 Zodiac signs and build a moc incorporating that ONE sign into it.

My choice of zodiac is the symbol of Leo, also known as the Nemean lion.

The Moc is based on the Greek myth about the twelve labors, starting with the first task where Heracles is supposed to defeat the dreaded Nemean lion, Leo.

After witnessing the crude slaughter of Greek soldiers by the ferocious lion, Heracles prepares to fight the beast.

The fearless warrior removes his armor and sword to prove how brave and macho he is!

Heracles might be strong, but it looks like he gave up his brains for brawn...

Nothing like a delicious Greek cuisine!

The Greek soldiers might've been armed to the teeth, but the lion could not be killed with any mortal weapons because its golden fur was impervious to attack.

Its claws were sharper than mortal swords and could cut through any armor.

I've also managed to include Leo's symbol into the Moc, or should I say into blood.

You probably know already from the MocOlympics 'Round One Scores' thread, but it can't hurt to comment on your creation to tell you that you made it to Round 2. Congratulations. Fearless machos and signs made from blood - it can't get any better. Neat.

Absolutely love Greek mythology, along with those sort of things (Example: god of War) so of course I LOVE this ! Great work on everything :D

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Fascinating build. I very much enjoy the lion design, and the sense of tension here. What I'm not sold on is the landscape. I feel it's chunky and oddly coloured - enough so that it looks unnatural but not enough so that it looks fantastic. (In the fantasy sense, mind.) However, the overall scene is well composed and the tree technique's excellent.
Thank you for the comment! You are in fact right about the bad landscape, that was done on purpose. My entry was a quick build, because I wasn't too focused on it during R1 (and I should have better). Don't worry though, I will get my act together soon during R2.

Yes, a giant black humanoid is a genius choice for a MOColympics entry. It is kind of funny how there are pretty much only lions, archer dudes and scorpions chosen. The coolest ones I guess.

Wow Stormbringer, just wow. Lovely details throughout the moc, I love Lion! He looks like a mix between a lion, and dragon! Leo's sign is well incorporated! Best of luck!
