Year 200 BB (Before the Battle of Unbinding) marked the beginning of the golden age of Mythron. It was a period of 100 years of peace. Then Mythron’s influence started to dwindle because of an evil King who took bribes and perverted justice. That was the beginning of the end of the power and might of Mythron.

Build: Regional Challenge: Persuasion
*Note: The text corresponds with the picture below it. Darvainian speaks throughout most of the MOC.
Darvainian is persuading the two men to join Nerogue. Will you be persuaded to join Nerogue too?
Darvainian: Here it is. Justice Rock, the place where Nerogue was first imagined. It was here where I thought for days about what to do next after I was shunned upon by the people of Mythron. You see, I was there during the Golden Age of Mythron.
Being an elf, I will not age, and I will live much longer than any human. I came to Mythron 20 years after Mythron ruled the whole map that we know of today, so 20 years into the Golden Age.
Mythron was a peaceful place. People all had respect for each other. It was during this time that I became a Diplomat of Mythron. I oversaw and negotiated between the Royal palace and businesses. Trade between the islands and the larger landmass flourished, and many people became rich. I guess that is when the trouble started.
The good King of Mythron died without preparing for the next person to become King. Naturally his envious brother took the throne. He split the honest throne in two. His one side showed a fake to the people, and the other side showed how he perverted justice and went after personal gain.
The next 70 years showed a decline in the people’s moral groundings and joyous foundations. Restlessness on the smaller landmass started to brew. Then another good King gained the throne after the death of the King of Bribes. Unfortunately, the brewing of Rainos was too great and a full-out revolt took place, eventually resulting in the death of the good King of Mythron, and the independence of Rainos at the Battle of Unbinding – year 0BB.
That was when I was considered an outcast from Mythron. But then I came here and saw that tree – firmly established in this rock – free to move in the breeze. That is when I thought of it - Nerogue. “Nerogue,” I said, “would be a place that anyone part of it would feel firmly established in what they stand for and freedom from the things that would bring them down to the ground.”
We stand for justice, honor, integrity, and truth. Nothing will move us for the things that we do collectively with one mind. We are of one mind. We are Nerogueians.
We are firmly grounded in what we know to be true. We will stand strong.
And thus Nerogue was born. On my travels I discussed the idea with many others who found themselves without a firm foundation. During this time, Rainos continued to gain power and soon conquered the rest of the landmass where Guaire is located.
Today, five years AU (Five years after the Battle of Unbinding), Rainos is almost complete with its capital city – Iremore. Yet, on the East side of Mythron, Nerogue is building up strength and is nearly complete with its capital city.
Mythron made some bad decisions during the reign of the King of Bribes, and other bad decisions soon after the Battle of Unbinding. The whole land went into chaos. Mythron had planted itself in a weak foundation – vulnerable to attacks.
Mythron left its strong foundation and fell.
Never again able to return to the strength it had during the Golden Age.
We Nerogueians are now firmly established in the rock, and grounded in what we know to be true. We will never make the same mistake Mythron did. We will not leave our foundation.
Justice! Honor! Integrity! Truth! With one mind we stand strong!
The two men I spoke to were convinced. They no longer lived an Outlaw’s life, as I once did. They now live in an establishment that has its foundation on the rock that will stand strong through the toughest storms.
~ We are of one mind. We are Nerogueians. ~
I really enjoyed building this MOC! The rock work is my favorite of the set. It was challenging to get the rock formation to curve well and close in all of the gaps. I really enjoyed building those rocks; I think they look awesome! The weak/dying tree was fun to build, and I did some different connections than what you’d normally see on a droid-arm tree. I also added leaves to that weak/dying tree, which I haven’t seen before in MOCs. The Nerogue tree on the side was actually the first thing I built for this MOC. I’ve seen the tentacles being used for a tree, but I added a bendable brown thing and made the tree more full and interesting. The dark red moss and the smooth sand added some nice color to the MOC in addition to the two trees.
I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures (and maybe reading the story) as much as I had building this!
very nice rock plate, the story is well developed if you could have added pictures that went along, it would have been more engaging, when explaining such a long story, try to add scenes to give us a chance to see who you re referring to, otherwise, it s quite hard. just trying to help a fellow story maker!
Looks great! The trees looks wonderful, and the figs looks awesome. The middle ones torso looks a bit off though, because it looks like you can see his skin through the cracks. Also, are those bloods stains? What are those red puddles? Anyways, the looks great!
Despite me being from Mythron, I like this build :P Also, I have a suggestion to make in LOM that specifically concerns Nerouge, but it might be a bit of an essay, and I'm about to eat, so how long will you be on?
