Inika Nuparu
"A Hero Reborn"
About this creation

I made an Inika Nuparu revamp a long time ago and it was ok-ish back then but rubbish compared to what I can do now (but my works still rubbish).
I never really cared or liked the official version of Nuparu as an Inika with the claws, the laser sight gun and the shoulder mounted sphere launcher. The Bionicle Heroes game version was so much more appealing. Admittedly the characters are all slim and my mocs lean towards the more armoured, chunkier style but I always loved that he had no weapons aside from his entire right arm ending in this big ass claw with an energized sphere launcher. It just contrasted to the rest of him and the glowing sphere stood out magnificently.
Kudos to Lord Oblivion on inspiration for his left arm, the flow of the lower part is much more concealed in this way and works great for the moc. The head does appear far more bulbous in the pictures than it is in reality but perspectives and all kind of screw with that.

I think that this'll be my final version of this character in revamp style and I have no intention of making the normalised version (claws, gun etc.).

Nuparu was my fav character to play as in BIONICLE heroes, until my game glitched out and stopped working. it went so far as to stop rendering Matoro's weapon, and certain characters would be missing their heads, all punctuated by the music looping the same part over and over. not to mention my ps2 is a piece of crap.

The overall look of him looks super awesome! Kinda hard to see the detail due to his color scheme but I can see how it has to be what it is. Awesome sauce!

Your Toa Nipple I mean Toa Nuparu look amazing and i do agree the BH are way better then the sets. Now with the MOC. I do love his weapon and the legs, the body is amazing and like the use of the HF armor plus the arm look great.

Like Gringat said, there are some gaps, but on a black MOC gaps that small don't bother me at all. When I saw the main pic I immediately thought of Bionicle Heroes. I loved messing with Nuparu's weapon in that game, and I loved the level one weapons the Toa had. Really fantastic build, you captured Nuparu so perfectly.

When I saw this on DA I just had to fav it. This may not be your best work in terms of build, but it's definitely one of my favourites. The proportions, as always, are perfect. The chunkiness works. On the other hand, there are big, visible gaps in his knees and around the mortar in his hand which really take away from the look of the MOC. I'm not such a fan of a solid lime "heartlight" either. It matches his eyes, but I don't like it. :I
