Akamai Nuva
Akamai Nuva, Re-born
About this creation

When the Toa Mata faced the Manas, they split into teams of three and those teams merged to become the two Toa Kaita, powerful elemental beings to embody strength and wisdom. The Toa Nuva also had this ability to use in times of dire need.

Just something to really get me out of my moc block. I don't do titans often and this model shows just why, it's not very good.
I don't have a great deal of functional orange apart from armour panels (HF) so they're not too well done as I tried to make them predominantly orange with what little useable ones I had for this specific build.
I decided to give him horns to put my own twist on the character and to make him look a bit more imposing ascetically. His weapon has been changed from the dual ended sword and mace type weapon to a single blade. Seeing as this is an absolute 'heroic' character, I think the sword is a classic weapon to choose. I guess a villain would have a more barbaric and 'spiky' weapon in comparison.
This is obviously drastically different from the original as it hasn't got the dual torsos and the odd appearance that the original had for the legs. This is a full, single build with colours signifying the different characters.
Tahu - Head, Torso, Arms, Feet
Pohatu - Abdominal Section
Onua - Legs

Overal I think it's passable for a weak build but then again I'm not an avid titan builder. It's another Bionicle build to add to my current string of revamps.

Quoting Gilbert Despathens Despite the lack of a mace, this Akamai looks villainous, or at least like some pagan nature god. The dark eyes fit the rest of him excellently. Technical question: How do you distinguish a "titan" apart from one of your usual Bionicles? Lego seemed to use "titan" to describe any humanoid figure bigger or more customized than the average Toa, and most of your creations seem to fit that category.
I have a 'standard' style which is most of my stuff size-wise, anything that goes out of that such as torso width for shoulders or limb length, then it starts to be a titan.

Amazing MOC! Those horns give him a different personality entirely... Very imposing and dangerous. Beautiful construction on all of it, really, but the torso stands out. That armor! For some reason I also love the lower arms. I would think that orange Y-socket would look out of place, but it adds a lot! I can't really think of it of Akamai, but it's a great MOC in its own right.

Looks like a powerful dude! Love the horned head design, and great work throughout the body.
