Bomb Disposal Robot
In some shows on the Discovery Channel I have seen bomb disposal robots for soldiers on the battlefield. I wanted to know if I could build one in Lego; this is the result; I took the inspiration from the Dragon Racer bombdisposal robot.
About this creation
This creation has:

6 M motors

2 IR receivers

2 Batteryboxes

This the first tracked vehicle I made. The left side

and the right side are both powered individually, for steering purpose.

The front

Left side

Top, you can see the motor for turning the arm, it sits btween the two batteryboxes

Front camera to see where you are going (isn't real, just saying ...)

The arm extended, ready for action

Rotating the arm

In action, little sand bump looked a bit weird so they decided to investigate it

Hmmmm, can you spot the cable? That calls for a closer look.

View for the arm mounted camera. They did the right thing by sending in the robot

Another life saved.

The robot with some heavy-duty tracks.

Well designed, and the low centre of gravity and well-packaged mechanics help it a lot. Good building!
