Go where no brick has gone before!
About this creation
Thanks to Clayton Marchetti for inspiring me to build the Enterprise! I tried many times as a kid and failed. His work is phenomenally accurate, pls check it out! My version will be a cross between the original series ship and the (Old) Movie version with a few tweaks - I also made it so it can easily be converted from the original to the Movie version so the engineering hull and saucer reflect more of the 1979 movie look. The hardest part so far has been dealing with the neck of the engineering hull holding up the saucer weight successfully - but I think I have overcome that now.

I hope to have it all done next month as I want to take it to Brickfete MTL (in Nov) if I go! Happy building! Cheers!

Quoting Declan Muller Well, maybe you should make some different versions of the kre-o microchangers; ones tht transform! I'm planning on making some custom construct-bots (ones that don't S:U:C:K:).

the only thing kre-o flying of the shelves here are the transformers kreon blind bags - which I am starting to appreciate. The non transforming transformers kits though - still not a fan!
Quoting Declan Muller The hasbro kre-o enterprise has been sitting around in my local k-mart store for a couple-o months now, and nobody's buying it. Look's like that knockoff's time is up...

thought did cross my mind!
Quoting Raymond Drum Very nice! You know what would really freak people out? Leave it unfinished with pieces missing on purpose and build a construction dock around it and say it's done! LOL

..if only..
Quoting Declan Muller Look, I'm just saying that hasbro's only doing the buildable bot stuff for cash. They know kids will eat that stuff right out of their hands, so they don't even try. I know you're not random (after all, you're the most famous TF MOCer on MOCpages, and I'm not flattering), all I'm saying is that hasbro is just sitting around on their backsides all day making terribIe stuff, because at the end of the day they still get payed. You, on the other hand, make things to be good. I wish hasbro had that kind of mindset...

Quoting David Alexander Smith The Enterprise, such a simple design, but one that fights against Lego interpretation. This one seems to be on the winning side of the saucer battle. Looking forward to the final model.

just the camera angle - its actually just right when assembled to the engineering hull - you'll see on the completed post next month. <<< Quoting Achintya Prasad Ah yes! A nice technique for roundness; I always use plates. Only reccommendation is to shorten the length of that neck; seems quite long.....
