Keldrin: Stygian Cyborg (50/50 Challenge R2 entry)
My 50/50 Challenge R2 entry. Half cyborg, half Skakdi demon. Why? Because I can.
About this creation

In the crevices of a chasm, in the barren wastelands of Spherus Magna, lay the shell of a biomechanical robot. Over the course of centuries, the biomechanical being, half torn-up by battle, started to regain power, and electrolysed enough of its materials to boot up its A.I. and spark up into life, briefly. Its eyes lit up with a dim trans-yellow glow. However, it was not capable of moving its limbs. It was paralyzed.

Those brief minutes were all the dying "Cyborg" ever needed, as a band of Skakdi scouts cautiously approached it after hearing a distress signal. Keldrahk, the leader of the group, slowly approached the half-dead Cyborg, and looking around, he found the robot's Kanohi lying right next to it. he held up the mysterious mask close to his eyes to investigate it. He took off his Crast and slowly tried to fit the battle-scarred Hau onto his own head, much to the opposition of his 4 followers, who advised him against it. But they called it too late.

In a blinding blue flash of light, the henchmen fall to the ground, oblivious to what happened to their leader. But he rose up, no longer as their leader. He was something else entirely. He screamed in great agony, feebly attempting to claw the mask out of his head, but a bolt of electricity sparked up from the head and a series of deafening warning signals came out of the fused abomination's mouth. His body was fought for by Keldrahkk's consciousness and the A.I. for a mere few seconds, until all the vital signs of the A.I. stabilized. The duality of this monster had manifested. Shortly afterwards, the being fell to the ground.

Hours later, the being regained consciousness, finding himself in a Skakdi lab. Keldrahk's comrades performed vital checks on him, restraining him in an examination cell, with both his wrists and feet chained to poles. He was completely suspended in the air. Keldrahk moaned in agony, demanding to be released. His fellow Skakdi calmed him down and convinced him to remain calm while they tried to save him. They began injecting a plethora of substances into his bloodstream, hoping that something would work. As soon as a syringe of liquid protodermis-infused Makuta virus was completely injected into him, the being sprung into action, breaking his restrainers and falling to the ground moments later. Spikes began to emerge from his back and limbs, but the cyborg half managed to keep itself intact, restricted the flow of the toxic compounds to his left half. He then rose up, with a sinister smile on his deformed face. He then announced in a deep, intimidating and machine-like voice: "I am Keldrin. I know what I am".

Upon further investigation of what he had become, the Skakdi discovered that Keldrin shared the collective consciousness of both beings intertwined. He also retains all previous knowledge and memories of both beings, as well as functional control over most machines. His physical strength was also vastly improved, as the Cyborg side was capable of influencing his body parts to have improved muscle function and efficiency to balance both sides. The virus he was injected with also gave him control over certain species of Rahi. However, he suffered two tremendous flaws: His mask power was no longer accessible to him, and his energy depleted so quickly that he had to be at close proximity to a source of electricity at all times. Due to his power over machinery, he discovered he could absorb electricity from them, thus replenishing his supply.

Due to his vast array of powers, he is highly sought after for recruitment by the Dark Hunters, and while he is constantly being offered to join them, he has turned them down countless times, choosing instead to fight for his fellow Skakdi.

4th Wall:
Well, there you have it! A last minute entry that hopefully you guys will like. I personally like some of the ideas incorporated into this bad boy, but do happen to prefer the cyborg side over the Skakdi-demon side. Cuz that's what he is now, a cyborg-demon-Skakdi :P And while I do believe he looks kinda cluttered and messy in some places, I think this MOC is one of my more creative ones. Not necessarily the best-looking, but I do quite like it. And besides, I don't have much system to work with, so that's the best I could do with what I have.

Feel free to give your input on this guy. I might revamp him sometime in the future.

Aaaand that's all he wrote.
For now.

Quoting MacLane Mars Interesting backstory, and an even more interesting MOC. He does look a bit cluttered, but I actually like it. My only complaint is that the mask doesn't really seem to fit the character. Maybe something a bit more sinister, as well as larger. Other than that, great job. Good luck!
Actually the Hau Nuva was my primary mask choice, but I ended up taking it off because it was in fact too big for this guy, so I would say that size isn't really the issue. Sinister, maybe. But there aren't that many masks that can make you do as much with the head. Thanks though!

Quoting Gringat the Repugnant Excellently made. He looks menacing and the duality really shows. The best part of this MOC has to be the backstory though! :)
Hahahah I'm surprised you actually like the backstory, considering I pretty much whipped it up as I went along :P Thanks for your input!
