Ciel, the Night Wolf
A selfMOC for someone else. With a long claw.
About this creation

Name: Ciel
Species: Ta-Matoran by day, Rahi by night
Location: Mata Nui
Lifespan: Unknown
Alignment: Lawful Good by day, Chaotic Neutral by night
Occupation: Usual Matoran stuff.
Element: Fire
Kanohi: Powerless (it shapeshifts during transformation, but remains powerless)

Ciel was a normal Ta-Matoran, who lived during the thousand years of shadow. One day, while on an errand, he was attacked by a Rahi with an infected mask. To his surprise, the creature simply took one bite and walked away. However, this subjected Ciel to a curse by which, although he remained Ciel the Ta-Matoran by day…

He took on a monstruous form by night.

He would go wild, attacking the other Matoran and consuming energy from their corpses.

In time, the Ta-Matoran would all fear “The Night Wolf”, although none of them new he was one of their brothers.

Fourth Wall begins here. I built this as a Self-MOC for a user on Brickipedia. His name is NightWolf 150, setting the tone for both his titles – in addition to the obvious, I named the Matoran form “Ciel” from the Latin for 150. I also had in mind a claw design similar to Wolverine.

Let's see... about the actual build... this is my first BIO-MOC with a torso joint. And my third BIO-MOC with a custom torso at all, for that matter. Most of the weight is centered on the axle, with various pin/axle connectors covered by the Malum shoulder armor. The last part of this (that was important) was the matching pair of claws.

^The torso joint.
Stormjay Rider out, till next time.

Bonus pic--the last thing many Ta-Matoran see.

Nice! I like his claws, and the foot-chest works well. I fell that the arms (I say this a lot) could be bulked up, but overall, I like this a lot. Excellent job!

Great job! Those claws remind me a lot of Wolverine.

Quoting Gringat the Repugnant Custom pelvis designs are rare and tricky to make work without looking uncomfortably misproportioned. Ciel's works well. I think his lower arms could be made out of a better part than the one you're using though. Those limbs work better as shoulders, I find. I hope NightWolf150 is happy with him! :)
The main reason I used the free ball joints was to make up for the lack of articulation in the wrist. Thanks for the comment!
