Reading Olympics Round 1: The Land of the Ironclads
War's won by technology...
About this creation
This is one of the Ironclads clearing a trench from H.G. Wells 1903 "The Land of the Ironclads" short story. If you Google it then you can get a downloadable pdf of it. I would highly suggest it. An Ironclad is essentially H.G. Wells' idea of what we now know as a tank.

Quoting Reaper the Ultimate . You are awesome because you read H.G Wells. The MOC itself just looks a little unfinished, but mostly very good. Plus, you included the pedrail wheel, so it gets an Excellent rating.
Yea got into a little time crunch with college apps so the scenery took a hit. Thank you for recognizing the pedrail!!! I was hoping someone would see that!

Quoting A M Very nice work, a 3 from me. Great use of the plates with the studs only on the edges, it really contributes to the ironclad feel of the machine. Good stuff.
Thanks! I hoped those plates would give it a sort of riveted look to it.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Good stuff, a solid 3 pointer. I like the design of the vehicle, some good angles there. Unfortunately, the landscape is far too rectangular and blocky to enhance the build, and fails to provide an engaging backdrop.
Yea I didn't do so hot on the landscape...was running out of time because I start Senior year the 20th. I'm quite proud how the Ironclad herself turned out.

Quoting {JOG} Josh O. 3.75 I would love to see inside it more and a bit more landscaping around it. But i read the pdf and it looks pretty much exactly like it is described. Great Job!
Thanks! I'm glad you took the time to read it! Excellent judge right there.
