Just a little creation to show you that I still want to build and not only 5-wide cars. I would like to thank Fred, Frank, Peteris and you, all MOCers, for that. As we are moving to another house, I am very busy since months and now all my bricks are in cardboard boxes. But, I took an evening off, pinched my oldest son's latest present and for the first time played the “ alternate “ creation game. The 6913 set is +/- 10€/$ worth and it's value for money with 152 parts. I used most of them. Of course, I was a bit limited in what I could build but that was all part of this little challenge. I very much like the x346 brick and it inspired me the front of this car. It would be better if I could add some parts not from the set like 93273 parts for the front wings for example. But, I already like it as it is and had good fun building it.
cool model Vinny! I like the shapes of sculpting you did, the front lights are 'brilliant', lol, I have to try something like it, I also like that there is nothing covering the front tires, it s racy, I hope you get a cosy place to conceive other great pieces in your new place, and good luck my friend!!!
If this is your first time playing the "alternate" game, I'm looking forward to seeing more from you! Hopefully you enjoyed it, and discovered that building good alternates is quite the challenge.. ;-)

Very creative, but you can't have a mid and rear engine car.
Hi Kevin, thanks for your comment. English is not my mother tongue, so may be I should write rear mid engine. As every knows, most cars have front engine. But, some have front mid engine like the Ferrari California or Mercedes SLR ; most hyper cars have mid rear engine ; and the following cars for example have rear engine : the Porsche 911, the Skoda 110, the first Fiat 500, the first VW bettle.
Great Job Vinny. I love the overall shape especially the nose and rear end. It is great to see someone else catching the ‘Alternative’ bug – It is the true essence of Lego building. We can all make fantastic creations with unlimited bricks but making something fun, playable and good looking (like this) is a much bigger challenge. Just moved house also and all my Lego (except one set 5867) is still packed away too :( . Hope you are settling into your new home.
