M1A3 Abrams Update
I'm back again with the might M1 Abrams tank. A few updates including a crew, color adjustment, and the turret rotates better now. Also I included the Comm Jeep since I felt it was too small to have its own mod. Thanks for viewing, please rate and comment.
About this creation
M1A3 Specs:
Top Speed: 73 MPH
Weight: 43 Tons
Armor: Composite of Carbon Steel, Carbon Nanotubes, Kevlar, and Titanium Quatraboride (RPG Cage and Active Projectile Interceptor System {APIS} with TUSK)
Primary Armament: 125mm Rail-Assist (Railgun embedded in the barrel) Rifled cannon
Secondary Armament: M2 .50 cal HMG, Coaxial M240b LMG, and 2x quad smoke grenade launchers
Power Plant: Mk. 13 Micro Tokamak Fusion Reactor
Combat Range: Theoretically infinite
Crew: 4

This latest incarnation of the Abrams is by far the most formidable tank on the battlefield of the 21st century, combining unrivaled survivability, massive firepower, and the speed to get to the fight.

Though it has seen very little tank vs. tank combat, the M1A3 has proved itself as both an infantry support tool and a MBT.

4th wall: for those of you who have seen the earlier version, the mine plow is undergoing a facelift and will return soon.

Often used by infantry as cover from small arms fire, the M1A3's armor can tank direct hits from the most powerful MBTs and then give it back with interest.

(sorry about the lower quality of this picture) The rear of the M1A3 was up-armored for urban warfare and has fared well against RPGs and tank rounds.

Features! Basic tank stuff turret can 360, gun can elevate and depress, suspension is unchanged (I forgot to take a picture of it) and opening hatches for commander and gunner.

As you can see, the loader and driver fit in the tank, the turret and the majority of the frontal armor were removed to demonstrate this, as they are otherwise invisible.

Smoke grenade being launched. Able to provide a smoke screen that hides that tank optically, thermally, and from radar, the smoke utilizes a classified mixture of smoke, aluminum dust, and clay powder.

Over 6,000 M1A3s are used by the US military bringing the total Abram's count to about 18,000. There are no plans to sell the M1A3 for some time.

Top view, view precarious to photograph, not the best picture, but you get the point.

Got creative and did some outside artistic shots, these are the only two that I thought were good.

Yes, the RPG cage is on in these shots. I don't know if I like the Abrams more with or without it.

Huge inspiration came from this. Used the LDD file to explore some tanking techniques

Communications Jeep Specs:
Top Speed: 112 MPH
Weight: 1.3 Tons
Armor: Aluminum and iron
Primary Armament: none
Power Plant: A14 six cylinder gasoline engine
Combat Range: 700 miles
Crew: 1

Not so much a moc as a mod of set 4433, just thought it would be nice to have.

Primarily used bu the CIA to intercept Turkmenistanian communications, the Comm Jeeps have provided invaluable intelligence to US commanders.

Also used to call in airstrikes and other support, the Comm Jeep can make a request to an airbase up to 800 miles away and virtually infinitely with satellite linkage.

The light armor and lack of weapons means that Comm Jeeps must be defended from enemy attack. Many squads with a Comm Jeep assigned keep it next to an Abrams or other heavy vehicle.

In the rear you can sort of see the communications gear, mostly just printed tiles that look communicationsyish.

Roof on, I think I went slightly overkill on antennas.

LDD file is for the Jeep, I don't plan to release the on for the Abrams since I don't want elements of it to be used without credit as I spent quite a long time on it.

Quoting Keelan Stacey Not accusing you of copying but is this a modified version of the M1A2 Abrams by BattleBrick? (Im not trying to say anything bad about it and I absoloutely love it like the details are amazingly great ...
No, this is entirely custom. I've seen that one before and it probably had some influence on design (I took inspiration for close to 50 Abrams mods). Thanks for looking

1 for 3 here: nice really like it although if possible for you outdoor lighting is much better. Best effect for me personally is to place overlapping a4 sheets of paper on the ground and use a big plastic container or something in the background. Hope this helps. P.S look at my tumbler to give you a better idea of what I am talking about.

Love how you made it have all those tiles although with the jeep I recommend using bars for antennas!

I think the tank is the best. The jeep has to many antennas though. They make the jeep look strange.

The smooth sides and the angles look great! I'd make the tank's flags on one side, and add some grill bricks in the plates on the front, but it's still a great tank!

Beautiful design. I think the tiles on the side look great and the tank looks great. I think you should try and make the antennas more random. Great job overall though.

Fantastic, I love the tiles on the side of the tank, I really love the pictures outside. my only concern is that car has too many antennas, it was a bit overkill, great build though!!! I really like it!

Wow! Great work! The colors are absolutely perfect, and the proportions are excellent too! I personally like the Abrams without the RPG cage. The communications jeep is pretty fantastic as well! I would have randomized the antennas a bit more, but then again, I don't know a ton about this stuff.

Quoting Matt W. That is a sweet tank, but it would be nicer with a more detailed interior...also the back could be a little smoother.
Thanks for the feed back. I would like a detailed interior, but it's a matter of practicality. There's very little room inside the tank and more stuff could hinder the turret's rotation.

Quoting Stormjay Rider Nice work on the tank. I think you did well with the angles here, though the trans green on top of the gun is a little off. The jeep is all right, but not quite camoflagued. Also, if you can, please add images of the original vehicle for comparison.
Thanks. The green on the MG is supposed to be a holographic sight. As for the reference photos, the jeep is imagined.

Quoting Builder Allan Great tank! Lots of cool design ideas. Interesting idea with the RPG-guards, too bad lego doesn't make those fences in sand-colour :-)
Thank you, I looked at sand colored fences in LDD and actually liked the black better, I guess it was the contrast or something. I did not invent that method for the RPG cage though, I'm pretty sure it was Andrew Somers.

Quoting Ed Bangor Awesome, but TUSK comes with a remotely operated .50-cal and an armored cuploa for the loader's 7.62mm. So you're one weapon short to claim TUSK status.
Thanks for the advice, but like I said to Achintya Prasad, this is a fictional version, however, I probably add the armored cuploa an 7.62 (most likely an M204b) in the future.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Nice! A wee bit too many antennas, for my taste anyways. Brilliant tank! I didn't know that Abrams had RPG cages; I though they were just fitted to Bradleys and Strykers.....
Well this is a fictional version of the Abrams so I feel I can take some liberties on reality. Thanks for your constant advice and opinions.
