MEGA Tallix: The Hero
My entry to the fourth round of the Biocup!
About this creation
Many years after he was freed from the Goliath Mech Suit, Tallix returned to the Island...

He made the dangerous trek through the forest, finding it far more deadly than before, but he finally arrived at the Makuta's Lab...

He found that the Visorak had abandoned the lab, spreading evil in the forest instead. So it came that he came upon the door he reached last time...

This time he found that it slid open, revealing thousand of bizarre, twisted inventions and one very angry Makuta...

He and the Makuta engaged in a fiery duel, lasting for hours. The duel finally ended when Tallix sliced through the makuta's chest, but at the same time the makuta sliced at Tallix's ankles, causing him to tumble into a vat, unleashing the contents onto Tallix. So it came that he came superpowered, mutated into a more powerful version of himself. And he was ready for whatever his destiny might bring...

Lookin' epic with his sword and gun-shield!

Creator's Comments:
I have mixed feelings about this guy. He looks great sometimes, but other times... Not so much. Each part looks FANTASTIC by itself but the proportions must be slightly off. I still think he's some of my best work.

I think the weapons are the best part though! Hope you like it! :D

I love it, I do kind of agree with Johann Dakitsch, although it does give the figure a nice mechanical humanoid feel which fits the design I really like this model, keep it up!

Pretty good. Has a nice color scheme and surely looks like the character. That torso is quite nice, but gets a bit too thin around the waist (also, those exposed technic bits on the sides bug me). The feet flow pretty well with the legs, and I like that shield. Arms, however, are the main problem. Shoulders are nice and all, but the lower part, not only looks a tad too messy, but is connected to the upper half with such a thin conection that it looks like its just hanging in there, rather than flowing together with it like a proper arm. Still, overall, very good one, so heres an 8.

A nice and smooth titan here, very recognizable too. I do have some mixed feelings about it though. The legs and elbow areas feel quite skinny compared to the torso and the exposed technic bits here and there, especially on ribs, don't flow with the overall smooth theme. 8 points. Impressive work otherwise, very successful chest and belly.

Great entry, sleek and mean! My main problem here is that he clearly has some stability issues because of the weak hip/glutes section, which should have been beefed up and perhaps had some pistons added to assist in his poseability. Still, a fine entry! You get and 8 from me.

The angular armored look gives it a sharp, sleek design. You carried through the angled shoulder covers from the original MOC too, which is a nice touch. Overall the look is consistent, save for a few small areas which don't look quite right and thin jointed areas which are often unavoidable. Great weapon accessories, here's an 8.

I like how the elements flow here, giving the impression of a flexible suit of armor. The head is pretty cool, and the character is clearlt recognizable. I feel the shoulder joints need more work, but overall wow, 8 points :)

It's neat for me to be able to compliment based on what the SHADOWS of a MOC's greeble have done to suggest cool textures - the custom head's layering of System and technic has added some very interesting shadowing to suggest facial structure, here in your shots. That's cool, and I'll allow you to tell me it was Intentional, if it wasn't. =) HUGE build, proportion-wise, great colors, great closure everywhere except the glutes, oddly - I thought a little armor bushings to close the effaced silhouette a little would've been nice, but that's a minor detraction. 9 well-deserved Points. Cheers!~

Right away I'm impressed by the part combos on the torso. The drone, Jaller armor, and assorted HF cladding look fantastic together! A couple other places, too- like the feet- have the armor meshing into a very awesome, powerful look. Some of the armor has some gaps that mess with the look, though- the upper arms stood out for me. Still impressive, but not quite matching the quality of the rest. I think some smooth, all-technic building would look good in those places. Get rid of the Bionicle armor altogether in, say, the upper arms and thighs, and let it contrast with the slick armoring you have going on in the torso and extremities. But nitpicking aside, this is a fantastic build, well done.

Quoting Gilbert Despathens The waist joint (or semblance thereof), the face, and the gun-shield are exceptional, and the torso is so sleek as to appear almost seamless. On the whole, the change looks more like a gradual response to technological breakthroughs over the years than mutation, but the latter option could work to explain the slight disproportionality.
Thanks a ton Gilbert! I just came up with the mutation idea on the stop. Not really a mutation but an upgrade thing. Thanks! :)

Quoting [ Chro ] Wow. The proportions are kind of weird and he apparently has no feet, but the build itself looks great. Good luck, Infy.
He has pointy toe boot things. XD, I love that name.
