The Lord of the Rings: Mumakil, Oliphant
This is my creation of the Mumakil aka an oliphant from The Lord of the Rings the Return of the King movie. I designed the model as if it were an official LEGO set.
About this creation

There are two flick-fire missiles on both side baskets

These are the minifigures I propose: Legolas, Eomer, Rohan soldier, Mûmakil Mahûd, Haradrim archer (X2)

The head swings by means of a leaver in the back of the tower.

Total bricks including the minifigures: 1151.

I love this this design, its the best Oliphant I've seen and not too large either. Do you have the LDD instructions for this, I'd love to put together the parts as a Christmas present!

Quoting Isaiah Marc WOW! that is super cool, its exactly like the one in the movie, I totally think that deserves to be a Lego set because it’s not too big or small plus you have all the details and is mini-fig sized, totally love it.
Thanks very much for the feedback! :)

Quoting RJ Stiles Let me just say that this is the best Oliphant that I have ever seen ( other than the one in the actual movie). Have you looked at posting it on LEGO CUUSOO? if you get enough supporters LEGO will turn it into a real set. Again, this is amazing. PS how to you convert the files from LDD to a jpeg?
Thanks very much for your comment! Yes I’ll think about putting it onto CUUSSOO, if this MOC proves popular :) The best way of taking pictures is to stay in ‘build’ mode and go to the ‘toolbox’ tab and then ‘take a screenshot’. That way you get a clean pic without any background, although it is grey but it’s easy to fill in white in paint. Thanks again for the compliments!

Quoting Michael Kringe I'm not a fan of LDD designs, but this one is excellent! One of the best Oliphaunts here on MOCpages!
Thank you! :)

Nice Work! Would like to see it in real. Do you plan to build it real?
