(Jabiim, 12 hours after the Imperial destruction of Alderaan by the Death Star)
(The sounds of blaster fire filled the muddy, storm-drenched world of Jabiim as rebel soldiers faced off with the Imperial garrison outside the capital city)
Fao- Does anyone read me, over? This is Captain Fao of the Jabiim resistance, we need immediate reinforcements outside of the capital.
(Garbled static responded through the holocommunicator)
(The heavy durasteel gates of the capital opened as the Imperial governor and several troops rushed out)
Governor Serul- What in blazes! The resistance should never have been able to mount an attack this large!
Serul- To your stations men! Remember the garrison on Alderaan was not evacuated! Die now in battle or die when the Empire destroys this miserable planet!
Fao- Blast it!
(Fao put her holocommunicator away in disgust as Jedi Master Desmond Ortu and former leader of the Temple Guard calmly walked up beside Fao)
Desmond- Having trouble, captain?
Fao- Sir! We're being cut up out here. We're giving the Imps a the fight of their lives, but we can't keep taking losses like this.
Desmond- The Force will find a way Fao. We've come this far, we can't falter now!
(Suddenly overhead, the loud groan of repulser engines filled the air as an Imperial missile speeder flew over the battlefield)
(A single missile whistled away from the speeder as it roared toward the resistance's ranks)
(The rocked exploded, tearing into the rebel soldiers)
Desmond- By the Force! The we'll never win this fight as long as the Empire controls the skies!
Fao- We used all out anti-aircraft missiles when we overrun the air base. We're sitting ducks!
(The sharp whine of a jetpack suddenly came overhead)
Desmond- What is it now?
Fao- Is that...a Mandalorian?
(The Mandalorian, Zita, flew right above the Imperial pilot)
Zita- Say goodbye Imperial!
(Zita pushed the pilot from the speeded and quickly used her wrist-blade the slash the engines, sending the vehicle hurtling downward)
(The combatants on the ground covered their eyes as the missile speeded exploded in a fiery conflagration)
Desmond- Well, I have never been one to question a miracle. The time to attack is now!
(Desmond threw off his cape and activated his double-saber, rallying the resistance)
Desmond- This is it! The final end of our struggle! Today is the day we force the Empire off of Jabiim, and show them the galaxy will not stand for it's tyrrany! Remember Alderaan!
Serul- You fools! Blast the Jedi!
Fao- Sir look out!
(Desmond turned around just as a green lightsaber flew out of nowhere, destroying the Imperial turret)
(The lightsaber flew back into the hand of Boris as Bartolo threw the Imperials back with a force wave)
Bartolo- Fantastic throw Boris.
Boris- I do try.
Serul- More Jedi?! What in the Emperor's name-
Imperial Engineer- Uh, sir-
(Zita dropped down in front of the governor, quickly blasting the engineer)
Serul- Mandalorian's! Wait, you're the one that took down my missile speeder!
(The governor took out a vibrosword, slicing through Zita's blaster)
Serul- You took my victory from me! Now I intend to take your life from you!
Zita- You fool! Your army is dead and you're surrounded! Give up!
(As Bartolo moved to join the fight, Boris put his hand out to hold him back)
Bartolo- What are you doing?
Boris- Let this be a test for my new student. We shall see what she does.
(Zita charged at Serul, who sidestepped her attack, bringing his blade across her helmet)
Serul- How strange! Your allies are capable of killing me now, and yet they do nothing.
(Zita threw her helmet down, rage burned in her eyes)
Zita- What are you waiting for?! Attack him!
Boris- This is your battle Zita, and a first lesson for you. Open yourself to the Force, let it guide your movements.
(Zita took a deep breath as Serul charged at her, catching his sword in her wrist blade and swiftly bringing her sword around to his neck)
Zita- There, have I passed your test?
Boris- You have opened yourself up to the Force, this is good, however you must learn to control your anger, lest it blind you. You did well, but remember that a Jedi only takes a life as a last resort.
Zita- He had it coming to him. I felt it though, the Force, it was...exhilarating. I'll listen to you, for now at least.
(Suddenly a cheer erupted from the resistance as Desmond walked toward Boris)
Desmond- Well that was certainly quite a show you put on Boris. Arriving just in time to help us free Jabiim, what are the odds?
Boris- Perhaps not odds, but skillful planning. I am glad your people are happy to be free.
Desmond- Oh, they're not cheering about this old rock. Take a look at this.
(Desmond pulled out a holocommunicator, it showed the Death Star exploding)
Desmond- Happened over Yavin IV. Some kid named Luke, get this, Skywalker blew the whole thing up using stolen plans. Without that station hanging around, our victory here really matters. Gives us a chance to fight the Empire across the galaxy.
Fao- Yes, but we cannot thank you enough for what you have done Master Jedi, without your help we may not have won this fight.
Boris-The honor is mine, however. Jabiim is now a symbol of hope for the galaxy, that the Empire can be fought, and that it can be beaten.
Desmond- That's the truth alright, but what's the plan now? Fao can handle things here, and I'm tired of this planet anyway.
Boris- Always wanting to get to the point, eh? The plan now is simple, it is time we take the fight to the Empire.
