Mini Dinosaurs
I haven't built in microscale lately so I thought I'd try building microscale dinosaurs.
About this creation
I haven't built my own brickbuilt dinosaurs before so I thought I'd try it. I chose to build them in microscale because I hadn't built in that scale recently. I built the Tyrannosaurus first and the Brachiosaurus last. It took about 25 minutes to build both of them. The only somewhat challenging part of this build was figuring out how to build a tail for both of them that was to scale and not too wide or big. I came up with a solution to that problem that I really liked and you'll see it later on in this post.

This will be one of the last things I build until at least Thanksgiving because I'm leaving for college on Saturday and I can't bring my LEGO with me since I'm living in the dorms and there's no room for LEGO. I do have LDD on my computer though so I will be building things on it. I just won't build anymore MOCs out of real bricks until I come home on breaks (although when I visited my college last summer I noticed there were basic LEGO pieces, Technic pieces, and Mindstorms parts in some of the engineering classrooms and I'm going to be taking an engineering class so maybe I will get to experiment with Mindstorms a little).

The Brachiosaurus:

The head

The neck (I used the majority of my 1x1 yellow round plates to build the neck)

The body

The legs

The tail

The tail attaches to the rest of the Brachiosaurus' body with a pin

The Tyrannosaurus Rex:

The head

The teeth

One of the arms

The arms attach to the body with a 1x1 round plate so they are pose able

The body

The legs and feet

The tail

The tail attaches to the body with a pin

At first I thought the yellow one was a giraffe.....so I was very curious why you thought a giraffe was a dinosaur. -.- Silly me. Anywho, these are very simple yet clever designs. Well done! 5/5

Creations like these demonstrate the true essence of Lego - you only need a few pieces carefully placed to make something fun and full of charm. Love the T-Rex he is full of character.
