More than EXCELLENT this is a 10 Header! I loved all your details and great use of the STAR WARS Advent Calendar stuff. Loved your wardrobe department and the mini cam that moves over a miniature landscape! The concept of a garage - wow! The use of real LEGO Minifigures as "statues" rather than real "People" was excellent! I hope the people at Lucas see this one!

Excellent build, and a very novel idea. I don't think I've seen anything like this built before, a very refreshing change of pace.

Very clever idea and stunning execution! There are so many brilliant details and well-thought-out segments--the trench run set-up and the suspended camera are both brilliant!

Sweet! Though I don't know if Lucas deserves being built in Lego.

Great moc all around! Good luck. I love George, you can almost hear him thinking, "How can I ruin these great movies then dump the entire franchise to Disney for a massive fortune?" ;)

Quoting Paul Vermeesch So much love for this dio. This is the way a Star Wars MOC should be. Brilliant execution of a brilliant concept. Good luck in the contest!

Wow! Awesome job! I really like all of the detail, especially the model of the Death Star with the mini ships in it! That's a perfect recreation of what ILM did to film the Battle of Yavin in A New Hope. It is very appropriate for this MOC. Also nice George Lucas figure, you captured his look perfectly. He's instantly recognizable with his plaid shirt, glasses, and his hairdo.

Great idea for a build! It's fun watching old 'the making of' film from back in the day. I agree, nothing like blowing of a real model.

Gilbert hit the nail on the head! CGI is great and all, but props, man. How are you going to action off a CGI image of the new Enterprise?! Anyways, fantastic work, and a clean build! 5/5

First off @ Gilbert I cannot agree with you more. I hate CGI I can't stand watching the changes Lucas made to star wars a new hope . I love blowing up models. Ok now that I got that off my chest this model is amazing I love all the filming models there fantastic . I love the death star model with the ultra mini x-wing and tie fighter . Great mini fig of the man himself . Excellent first rate job.

Some of the props alone could have wowed me! The Death Star and the scout bike are brilliant. Does anyone else think that the old special effects were better than the new ones? Computer animation can do amazing things, but the models looked more realistic - that was the only reason I ever had for liking Star Wars.
