Steering w/ Suspension
This is the 4th page of "Useful Engineering". My idea is to create small and functional techniques wich can be used in any technic car.
About this creation
So, this time, it isn't exactly for any technic car. I've built them all in 1/10 scale, but, anyway that's not exactly a problem because you can "shrink" them.

In all of them, the green piece is the input for the steering.

Well, for the first one I've built a simple one, very similar with the steering that TLG uses in technic trucks, with one difference, it is suspensioned. If you assemble it the new wheel hubs, you can make it with drive. Here you have an image of it:

For the second one, I've built a more usual suspension, independent suspension. It was suposed to have there the old hubs, but .ldd doesn't have it. Here it is:

The third is the most complex. It has McPerson structure, wich includes Camber angle and Ackermann geometry. It can also have Caster angle, but it would make the build a bit more complex. Here it is:

Of course there is the .ldd file at the end.

Hope you like it!
Please rate it and comment.

Quoting LUKE TATE This is for your sports-cars?
Not exactly, it's mostly for people who want to build a technic car with special features and don't know how to build.

Quoting sam the first for fun , i'm going to try and build a school bus monster truck so i'll be using the third option !
For a monster truck, the best option is the first. The third option is better for usual cars and RC cars. Anyway, you can try, but I don't recomend you.
