Small Patrol Boat
About this creation
A small patrolboat, inspired by a somewhat larger one used by the Danish Navy to patrol our many shallow internal wwaters.

Front.

Top.

Right angle. The many weapons are fully visible here. four torpedos, six missiles, a 57mm auto cannon and a .50... Err, .80 cal machinegun.

Left angle. Lots of antennas too!

Side view, left side.

And right side.

With weapons ready!

Looking down the barrel of a gun...

And finally, a look inside. Three man crew.

That's it for now, but i have a couple more smaller builds coming up. Stay tuned :-)

Contd. --> I had to cut the size of my build a great deal though, to have enough parts to put anything resembling a ship in the water :-D

Quoting Michael Rutherford A black light attack craft with an enclosed canopy? What’s not to like? The missiles on the aft section of the hull are a nice touch. This think looks like a barracuda with guns. I love it. I would love to see it in a dio, dockside perhaps? Attack!
Thanks sir :-) Well about a dio.. I don't have a dock built, but i do have a few small rafts, so i might be able to set up a little scene in open sea someday. This build was inspired by a vessel that resembles this one -> http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/fly/fly1.html The one i saw was somewhat smaller, with a 57mm instead of the 76mm, four missile tubes launching upwards/forwards on the back platform, and ..I think it was two - or maybe four - torpedos, to launch forwards along the side on one or both sides of the ship. I recently learned that that particular vessel had been taken out of service, replaced by the one in the link.

Quoting claw paradox but I thought those are autoLOADERS, not autoCANNONS.
Thanks for your comments :-) To be honest, i don't know the technical term, but the test in this video --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbWQjF2BJ0E does suggest automatic fire. I know it doesn't look anything like the weapon i have mounted on mine, but i had to settle with a small housing and other shortcuts to fit it on the boat :-)

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 lol, I recognize you now, fully loaded! lol, the nuclear missile must be hidden underwater I guess? lol, awesome patrol cruiser! the style is reminiscent of james bond, I love it Allan!
Thanks! Hehe well actually.. No :-D It would be an awesome hidden weapon though. I actually wanted to build a scale model of the original patrolboat, but had to settle for a somewhat smaller platform for the weapons the real one carries :-)

Quoting Achintya Prasad Pretty well armed for the size, eh? Nice work; I dunno about the cannon in the very front, but still, 5/5.....
Thanks! Well that cannon, yeah it had to be just crammed in there, as the real weapon is actually somewhat larger. And mounted on a larger vessel, too. I figured this was better than not having it at all :-D

Quoting Matthew Sylvan Armed to the teeth! @Claw, naval ships have 75mm autocannons firing 120 rounds per minute.
Thanks! Indeed, an italian design if i remember correctly :-)

Quoting Dr. Monster Very cool! Sleek shape and it's armed to the teeth. If you customized the minifigs I would like to see a pic of that too.
Thanks! I don't customize, other than move around parts (arms on different torsos etc.) so these guys are just dressed in all-black, with some old space-armor on the upper body, a hood, and a random fig-head i thought would fit :-)

Quoting John Stahlman This boat is wicked! Looks like it could take on anything! I love the torpedos and missles on the back. Once again your love of giant machine guns is evident! ;-)
Thanks! Hehe yeah they're a standard vehicle-monted weapon on almost all my army-builds now :-D

Quoting TRON 117 really cool! but next time you should use flash because i cant SEE much of the details with only one color. still cool!
Thanks :-) I actually avoided using flash to get better pictures but perhaps the background lighting could have been better. I'll look into that next time, and thanks for the critique :-)

claw paradox, they are loaders in the sense that they load you full of munitions. Allan, great build and it is one wicked boat! And I agree with the nuke must be hidden underwater.
