USS Zeus Titan class Super carrier
Boredom, looking at the Defiance class too much, and Achintya Prasad's prompting led to this monstrosity. Expect a UH-60 tomorrow. Please rate and comment.

This massive ship is the undisputed king of the seas, nearly 30% longer than the Nimitz class and carrying nearly 50% more aircraft.

No easy target for anyone trying to sink her, the USS Zeus carries enough defensive weapons to take on the most powerful warships and aircraft, even those with limited stealth.

The trimaran design adds stability, deck space, and as a sonar sponge.

Even the rear is defended. When the first commanders asked what the weak or undefended points they should be concerned about, the designers simply laughed and said "if you find a weak or undefended point, we'll give the navy all 10 for free." So far the navy has paid for all 10.

Instead of the standard steam catapult, a low powered railgun and a ski jump are used for launch. Also the old fashioned arresting wires are replaced with a magnetized deck slows aircraft more gently and more efficiently.

The deck is armored against up to 200mm railgun shots from a mere 1,000 yards away.

The jet blast shields do raise and lower, just a fun little feature.

Size comparison to a Nimitz class (this is not mine) and my Midway class, both dwarfed by the massive Titan class.

Due to her massive size, the Zeus was built in sections in the ship yards used for the Nimitz, then assembled at sea by specialized barges. After the navy reconsidered their method, new ship yards were build to accommodate these beasts.

Parting shot looking down the deck. If the navy ever build something this big it would be truly awe inspiring.

Quoting Locutus 666 A cool looking ship. But i wonder that the amount of crew increased. The upcoming Ford-class needs lesser crew than the actual Nimitz class due to some automationed stuff.
Well this ship is much larger than the Nimitz and operates many more aircraft. If it was the same size as the Nimitz it would have a lower crew.

Hmmmmm. XD Well, fascinating to see someone else reincarnate the tri-hull carrier design. Nice work.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Seems today is carrier day, huh? Nice work my friend! Boy if this was in real parts..... what are dimensions of it?
Apparently today is carrier day, once I get enough money I plan to order the parts for it. Its dimensions would be about 33.3inx11.6inx11in.
