Gravity GZ4 Superleggera
For mine and Alex B's MOC-off. What do you get when you cross futuristic and retro? A pretty unlikely combination, that would probably produce something horrible - this is what I came up with. Please comment and rate :)
About this creation

We decided to have a MOC-off of own brand supercars, as we both have pretty well established brands in terms of lego models.
This is my entry, I decided after doing 3 relatively crazy hypercars, I wanted to do something different.

So, lately, I have been getting pretty bored of using generic lego dimensions, so on this model, I decided to give it a funny shape.

The rear of the model is 16 studs wide, the front is 14, and where you see the black strip is 15...

Slightly reminiscent of old Porsche racecars, partially inspired by the Lamborghini Aventador.

Now you can clearly see the difference in width along the car. Notice the doors flare out as well?

The front was, in certain ways, obviously inspired by TVR's! But still generic Gravity...

Because you simply can't have a Gravity without butterfly doors!

The interior is really plain, and stripped down - but what do you expect of a track car?

Here is how the door flares outwards... This is probably my favourite part on this model!

The trunk is complete with a fire extinguisher and tool kit.

This is where the car is different, it has a rear mounted V8 :)

Everything open.

So there you have it, Gravity's futuristic retro car for the race track!
Good luck to Alex, I look forward to seeing your model! :)

Quoting Aaden Hughes Both you and Alex did an awesome job on your entries! I love the styling of your car, it is amazing! All the details and the shaping, it is just stunning! Your car is my choice for your build off with Alex, I think it just has that little bit of something over Alex's. Both entries were fantastic and well done to you both!
Thanks Aaden :)

Quoting Alexander Paschoaletto Hi, Harry. I have been checking your and Alex B cars some times. It was a pretty hard decision, considering that each model has a strong point. Your car has a killing style, that everybody loves. You prooved your geniuosly with bricks everytime a new Gravity is uploaded, And I have to say, your car has a better proportion than Alex B entrance. But his model has a strongest point too, as he adeeded much more functions than you in a car that has a smaller size. I know you could make a working engine, I saw it on your Maserati Merak, so I can't imagine a reason why you didn't put it. So, In matter of style, your car has won this and gets into the Contest purpose, futuristic retro car, much better than Alex B's Vortex z4. But as these models are fictional, the design does not award as much importancy as it would if the cars were real. So I'm choosing B's car because he made up a lot of impressive functions, using a smaller car. Good luck on the contest! :D
Thanks Alexander, and congratulations to Alex on winnin g the first vote :)

Quoting Ape Fight A nice design Harry. Most 'own brand' cars on MOCpages take a pretty boring 1990s boxy shape, add a load of unnecessary wings and a 'V16 twin turbo engine' and the result is a mess. This on the other hand looks great, like it was designed with a vision in mind and stuck to. I'd like a few working features, but when it looks this good I kinda forget about working steering! 9/10 : ) Good luck in your competition : )
Haha ;) Thanks, Maybe I should try to impove my steering I used to use and try and make it fit into some new models...
