Haha! Got it in right before the end of the month. This is my 4th free build of July. This one also has a bit of a story to go with it. Words under pictures. Enjoy!

Upon my arrival at the quarry, I could tell what was going on. It was a slave mine! The outlaws had dressed up as Mythron soldiers! They were ruining the fine name of Mythron! The scum! I was observing a conversation between the taskmaster and some other. I couldn't make out what they were saying, though. I'd pick up the other man's trail after freeing the slaves.

Currently the slaves were in the mine. 2 were carrying a box of coal. One of them had seen make my approach and I had signaled him to be ready. I assume he passed the word around. I drew my sword.

Suddenly I dove out from behind the bush and placed my sword around the taskmaster's neck. He cursed and yelled "Guards!" The cloaked man ran off.

Suddenly in the quarry the 2 slaves carrying the box of coal dropped it and ran to assault the guard. Others ran to help him. However one ran outside...

... and tackled the guard right outside the cave, then pinning him to the ground...

...he finished him off with a stone...

...then threw it at another other guard...

... hitting him in the jaw and knocking him out cold. I took note of this one.

Meanwhile in the cave, the guard had been killed without mercy.

Then all the newly freed slaves filed out of the cave.

"Please keep them away from me!" yelled the (former) taskmaster. "They'll tear me apart!" "You lived as a coward," I whispered in his ear. "Go out like a man." Then I drew my sword away from him and...

Kicked him to the ground.

The former slaves set upon him immediately.

"Greetings," I said to the orc who had helped me deal with the outer guards. "What is your name?" "Gruth Longfletch," he replied. "Would you like to become my companion, fellow orc? You did well in battle today." "I would like that very much," He replied, a smile playing out across his face. "Let me gather some items." "Of course," I replied.

When he returned he had on some armor and a bow. "I've been saving this bow for this day. Stole it back from the guard in the cave. He had taken it from me when they took me captive. I also took some armor that he wont be needing anymore." "Ready?" I asked him. I was trying not to look at the bloodbath that remained of the taskmaster.

We walked off, while I brought him up to date on my plans. "The slaves certainly gave him what he had coming." I remarked. "Yes." he said simply. "He had it coming for sure."

Here are a couple pics of the build.

What could this be? :D Say in the comments if you noticed this before this picture.

Also here is where the quarry is. Look in my last LOM MOC, A Short Detour, for what Vergo is doing next.

Cool build!

I just finished the build, hopefully soon, though I need to make your characters.

Quoting Stephen Boe I don't mind at all if you do that. In fact that's cool that one scene would be in two different MOCs.
Yeah, it's cool. David the Fire Ninja Jedi and David . ( the cyclops guy ) did one with a big scene and it was cool flipping back and forth the MOCs and watching the same action on both ends. Maybe we could get attacked by a couple outlaws so that it would give us something to do. They might be friends of the slavers and want revenge on me. When do you think you'll post yours?

Quoting Stephen Boe Well, before you posted this build, I was thinking that we met somewhere around where the quarry was, so crossing paths shouldn't be a problem. I'm almost done building the setting where we meet btw.
Ok. That works out fine. When your done do you mind if I build the setting also and include it in part of one of my MOCs? Also you can decide the dialogue, if any. Just remember Vergo doesn't talk to much,

Quoting Stephen Boe Nice build and story! I still haven't gotten around to building the part where we cross paths, but I will soon! When I do, I'm going to have to change your characters a bit because I don't have your hairpiece or headpiece, is that okay?
Eh, the minifigure dilemma is fine. The thing I'm worried about really is where I'll be in my stories when we cross paths in your story.

Wouldn't it be ironic if it turned out that it actually was a Mythronian quarry, and the earlier outlaws were going to use the armor they had to rescue their enslaved brethren? I'm not sure about marking the quarry on the map. Freeling made the map, so he's basically the only one who can add new parts so they match with the others. I'll bring it up in the staff group later this morning.
