Name: Maelstrom Nui (The Author)
Element: Maelstrom (All except time)
Class: The God
Purpose: The ultimate creator of my bionicle universe, and the god among gods.
The Author is different than most bionicle... because he isn't mortal. He is credited with creating the known universe, and bringing all things into existence. He has the ability to shape every single known element (besides time) and even fuse them together into a Maelstrom of energy.
The Author's staff is unique, because it holds a small sphere of Maelstrom energy that The Author uses to control the entire universe, using his books. The staff is actually a giant quill, and uses the elemental energy like ink to write out stories into books, and as the story is written, it actually begins to take place somewhere within the universe.
No one knows how long The Author has existed, or where he came from... in fact, very few people even know of The Author. His name isn't known by many Bionicle, because he prefers to lay low, and work behind the scenes. There are a select few cults across the cosmos who worship him above all else, and use the 'God Feather Crown' (seen on his staff and shoulders) as a symbol of power.
The Author has only one known match, and he is referred to as "The God of Time"... or "The Chronicler". He is said to dwell outside of Time itself, and watch over the universe for any threats that use time as a weapon.
The Author does not draw his power from the staff he wields, but in turn it draws power out of him. This means The Author used his bare hands to create the universe, and the staff... but then, where did The Author come from?
Fourth wall: I REALLY love this moc, he is kind of an allusion to me, as I 'created' this story. So as he writes story books, they actually happen. I have never seen white and purple together before, so I made the moc, then threw in a splash of dark gold... and this happened. Honestly he has a lot of similar designs to Nazo, but wasn't meant to resemble him.
Agree with Berial! Really nice and unique color scheme! I would thank some close-ups and pictures of the back of the legs, but as far I can see, this is a really, really good MOC. Magnificent, dear! Take my likes as oblation!
