MXSC-R1-The Amusement Trap
About this creation
My entry to the MXSC 2013.
Group: Sidekicks
Category:

B) Think like a supervillain. Now build a vignette (min. 8 x 8, max. 24 x 24) with a clever trap to catch a superhero of your choice. The more absurd, complicated and funny your trap is, the better. A reasonable(!) overhang is allowed, like a plant, arm, leg, etc. A one stud wide black base around your creation is allowed. It counts as overhang.

The Amusement Trap!

Hawkeye sped after Loki as the villain ran into the narrow, dark alley. As Hawkeye followed, he saw a few small slips of paper fall from Loki's cloak.

He quickly snatched one, looking intently for a sign of importance. Loki vanished down the alley.

"Wait a minute...These are tickets to the amusement park!" he breathed. He (foolishly) quickly abandoned his chase, and began jogging over to the amusement park.

***

"Ah, this is the life!" Hawkeye yelled as the coaster car he was riding on rose on a large crest in the "Batman" Roller Coaster. He felt the fresh air dance across his face.

But, that quick moment of content passed instantly as he saw what lay before him on the ride. He gasped. In front of him was a barrier, that would send him flying off the tracks!

Suddenly, Loki and one of his thugs materialized next to the barrier. "Haha! You're mine now, Hawk-fool!"

The ride conductor laughed, and pulled out a pistol. He was a thug, too! Hawkeye cursed himself for his foolishness.

He should have known this would happen! The car sped towards the barrier.

Loki cackled. "I have you now, Hawk-Idiot!" The car slammed into the barrier. It flew thorugh the air, catapulting Hawkeye with it. He slammed into the ground, crushing his arm underneath him. He felt it break.

"I have suceeded! An avenger is in my hands!" Loki grinned, and hauled the bruised Hawkeye to his feet. He garsped his arm, and materialized...with Hawkeye with him. The archer had no chance of escape.

Quoting I Me (Leaving After MO) First off, do you still remember me? I like the wall and rollercoaster, and the idea of an amusement trap is quite funny!
Yes, I still remember you! I was quite sad when I found out you are leaving. I'm still in hope you change your mind. And, thanks for the comment, I Me!

Ah, Hawkeye. It wasn't until the Avengers did people come to appreciate a guy in a purple skin suit. Even now some of us comic fans still don't like him. I'm sorry to say, but GO LOKI!
