Offensive Land Power
I present to you my upgraded Land Offensive Power for Michael Rutherford's take over the world game, Decisive Action.
About this creation
NATIONS NAME: MUESLIXTENSTEIN

Land Offensive Power: The Stahlman. An upgrade to the Crumpet. Named in honor of John Stahlman whose service and Komodo were the inspiration for this tank. Any similarities are credited completely to John.

NATIONAL MOTTO: HUC ACCEDIT ZAMBONIS! (HERE COMES THE ZAMBONI!) Oh yeah, it's here!

Suspensiony!

More suspensiony goodness!

Close up.

Extreme close up! WHOOOOAAH!!! Good day, Garth.

Nice little pistol ya got hangin' there cowboy.

Peekaboo. (Patented Stahlman designed hatches.)

BLAMMMMO!!!! Uff da, dat's gotta sting!

And, of course, be sure to contact your service representative regarding the optional ice resurfacing attachment. (I told you it was coming.) =]

Decisive Action , where the ice is perfect and there will be NO apologies for being a Philly fan. (What can I say, I grew up watching Ron Hextall in the net.)

Quoting Wolverine . :) Thanks! Also, I just (Tonight) started a tank! It should be better then my usual work. It won't be posted too soon though, because my brother has all the grey slopes in a hug MOC.
Do what you can with the pieces you've got. ;) This was my first tank as well. Good luck and have fun with it!

Quoting Wolverine . I wish I was as good a builder as you!
You will be. Probably even better. And who's to say that there isn't anything I can learn from you. I pick up new ideas and techniques every day. All you gotta do is open your eyes a bit wider. ;)

Thank you Tommy. I think I'll increase the caliber for DA2.0. Pretty sure I'll need it. ;)

Quoting Achintya Prasad Yep, just joined :-) I hope that I get into a powerful alliance. BTW, I just read the outcomes of the game. Your actions have left you with a lifelong admirer, and military partner; such a kind call on the prize Matt!
Sam was fun and reliable. Plus, his collection deserved a little boost. AND, considering I took over 4 of his territories in the last minutes of the last battle to gain the win, it seemed the best course of action as a simple "thank you". ;)

Quoting Achintya Prasad Hey, Matt, I just learned that you won DA; congratulations! I know its been a long road, and there have been several really great entries; next year, I aim to have Prasad Heavy Industries spooled up and ready to go for DA 2 :-)
You better be involved! ;) I look forward to your entries. If you go to the DA group, you can also add to ways on improving the game from what you saw. Michael and Keith are open to all opinions. 2.0 should be amazing, problem I foresee is that I am the primary target. See how long I can last. XD Thank you Achintya.

Quoting El Barto ! And a killer Zamboni, too! Awesome!
If it's completely mental, I'll come up with it! ;) I still chuckle at the idea of a Zamboni following a 10 ton tank across the ice. Lunacy. XD Thanks El Barto.

Quoting David Alexander Smith The discolouration of the tiles on the slide panels really adds a little something else. Great tank, and the shot with the cannon firing - superb.

Quoting Michael Rutherford King rowntree. Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): This is a good tank! The detail, and the creative tone are perfect for this game. You "Built Hard" on this one, and it will make a difference when it's time to count yellow heads. I like the harsh angularity, and the sloping surfaces. All presented with clear photos from excellent angles. On top of all that, it involves Chewbacca... which of course is an aspect of quality building that seems lost on most builders. Attack!
Thank you Michael. Chewy in general is a lost art form. Apparently, so were my photography skills. But, I think both are slowly coming back.

Quoting Brian Lyles Great job on the tank. It reminds me of something made in the 80's to look futuristic.
Thank you Brian. Strait out of "Megaforce" (If you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about and are LOL; if you haven't, I don't recommend finding out.) It does have a sort of Reagan-esque, cold war, mutually assured destruction look to it.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 ah, man, all those tanks people crank these days...I got to make one now, ok, super Abraham type tank, low profile, wide, cool turret that aims high, I love the 'shot' pic, but, the Zamboni rolled me over! totally un-prepared for this! lol, great piece Matt!!!
Thank you Cyberfrank. I noticed that there are TONS of tanks on the pages. The best in my opinion was Stahlman's Komodo. I have a link at the top, check it out. These are a lot harder than they look. You have to work from the top down to where the gun makes proportional sense. But, as always, I seem to temper any seriousness with a bit of humor. ;)

You missed my Road Warrior reference? Are you feeling ok? I only root for the Bruins because I got to see exactly one game in Boston in '76 on a school trip for the bicentenial and my young mind was blown. We don't have a team here in Vegas, so you have to root for somebody.

Quoting Senator Chinchilla . The tank is good, some nice details. You know the drill for these things. But what really pushes this over the top is that zamboni attachment! Brilliant!
I was going to put a glovebox on it just for you, but I realized that it would be like a screen door on a submarine. Zamboni drivers never take off their gloves. Duh. I don't think that there could be a more ridiculous attachment for a massive tank to pull across an ice rink. The silliness still makes me chuckle when I see it or think about it. I'm not sure why anyone would ever take me seriously. Hopefully they never do. ;) Thank you Senator.

Quoting Nick White I'm sorry bro but, I'm a Red-wings fan! ;) awesome tank! I like how wide it is! :)
Oh, Nick. I have to say, for a team to get a brand new arena in a bankrupt city, the Red Wings dropped a few notches for that move. XP Thank you for the compliment though, I actually thought that it may be too wide. It's stance seemed right but the scale kept throwing me off until I got the turret in place.

Quoting Nick Barrett Quite sleek and pretty, suspension looks effective. Nice tank.
Actually my first attempt at suspension like that and a tank in general. A tank is such a weird piece of equipment to design and build. Kinda have to work from the top down. Thank you very much Nick, and, of course, you shall be crushed by it! XD (I do love playing against you in this game. I'd like to be allies in DA2.0. I believe that we think very much alike. I hope you take that as a compliment.) ;) BTW as I was eyeballing the map, it doesn't look like Josh will be around much longer, might let him know.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Awesome tank brother! I like the suspension and the gun barel nice rifling. The steel plates to protect the machine gunner shows you really care. I love the zamboni. I grew up in King of Prussia just outside of norristown and my dad used to take me to the spectrum to see the flyers . We would go to the fights and a hockey game would break out. I loved watching the zamboni go back and forth. Good times . Thanks for the trip down memory lane . Fantastic Job go Chewie!
I have always love the Flyers. Hextall was the only goalie I saw drop his gloves and go after the biggest goon on the ice. He didn't fare too well, but I think everyone was in total shock and cheering for him anyway. Classic hockey. I was hoping someone would catch the rifling, that piece just screams to be a barrel end. The machine gun fell together and it seems well suited scale-wise. And, of course, who doesn't love a Zamboni? Thank you Brother, always pleases me when people wax rhapsodic. =D

Quoting Stuart Lucas This seriously rocks. You've got to love the business-like shaping, go faster stripe, and the hatches are of course excellent too. Go get 'em!
Thank you Stuart. I didn't realize how the shaping can be so difficult. When you take the turret off, it looks so strange so building up to it was backwards. As for the hatches, that is 100% John Stahlman. I have a link to his homepage and his "Komodo" tank. Check out how a REAL tank should look like, unlike mine. Thanks again.
