MXSC-R1 Dr. Collar's Laboratory Confrontation
Group: SIDEKICK Category: Come up with your own custom superhero and his personal nemesis, fighting each other.
About this creation
For Mr. Xenomurphy's Superhero Contest 2013

I've always wanted to come up with my own super hero character, and now I have a chance to really show him off - Darkeye and his arch-nemesis Dr. Collar.

Darkeye tracked Dr. Collar to his secret laboratory where he has been making the toxic glowing green goo, gas, and Robugs which are powered by the mysterious green spiders. The green spiders were first found by Dr. Collar when on a diving expedition. However, during the expedition, he badly damaged his head because he sank too deep into the water. That did not stop Dr. Collar. He went again diving and retrieved one spider which, when grasped, makes one be able to fly and shoot green lasers from the spider and even form glowing rods just by flexing one's wrist! Dr. Collar then proceeded to make a green suit with the power of the spider and wanted to make more of the spiders by cloning them.

He created this laboratory just for this purpose: to make more spiders and more of the toxic goo to take over Gotham City. Who can stop this villian? Darkeye. The third Batman

Here is the whole scene. 24x24. A possible overhang might be part of the Robug's wing. I assure you though, it is very slight.

The Robug.

Darkeye facing Dr. Collar.

Another view of the battle.

Here are some black light effects.

Dr. Collars firing the green substance at Darkey.

Darkeye uses his Electroshield and Electrodagger to defend and and counterattack.

The main generator mechanism.

It spins!

DISENGAGE GEARS

Yup! The gears can be moved out of position.

The gears disengaged and Dr. Collar up on the small platform.

The whole thing without Darkeye, Dr. Collar, or the Robug.

The tall generators powered by the mechanism you saw earlier.

Some more shots of the generator mechanism.

The main computer. Fancy.

Ladder leading up to the platform. You'll notice the three opening boxes there: That's the only overhang (besides the very slight overhang of the Robug's wing).

Some more views of the laboratory.

Put in two large spiders, and through the process of the machine, get one super powered clone of the spider Dr. Collar found in the deep depths of the ocean.

THE ROBUG. This robot can fly with ease in all sorts of directions due to the wings on the top, the spinning propeller things on its legs, and the glowing green power at the tips of its legs. It can shoot a high-powered laser in many different directions. It's robotic eye is the orange seed element.

Dr. Collar, some canisters of the toxic glowing green gas and goo, and two super spiders.

Darkeye. No natural superpowers. He invents powerful technology and uses material arts for combat. His high-tech gadgets are unmatched - especially his Electrospeeder. His special mask can make his eyes glow. His suit cannot catch on fire, and it protects him from electric shocks.

A parting shot.

I had tons of fun building this one. I like the whole futuristic, complex, and clean laboratory feel it has. Thanks to all who are involved with judging and special thanks to Mr. Xenomurphy for putting on this contest!

Thanks for looking, God bless!

Not a bad creation. In fact, I really like it. The one thing I don't like is that your photos are all slightly blurry.

Epic! Great job on everything! This is exactly the kind of thing you would want to see in a villain, so kudos on that! The superhero looked pretty epic, but I didn't really see much of him. Great job, and good luck!
