This is definitely one of the best MOC of this scene. I had the very same idea of how to accomplish the floor, but you actually built it, and I haven't. Great job! the only problem I have with it is the floor colors, they should be orange, but I'll still give this 5 stars. You should install some LEDs if you haven't already. ;) PS. I also think you should put this on Cuussoo, I would love lego to make another set of cloud city, and yours is a perfect representation. I'm sure many would agree.

Quoting superdreamkilla _ Would the texture look wrong if you bought cheaper 1x2 and 1x4 trans-orange plates?
Surely not, but in Germany the 1x2 are as expensive as 2 1x1 and there are no 1x4 in trans-orange. ... and in orange, maybe - but I have'nt orange plates either. Perhaps I will try it in the future.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! A few parts I always have to mentioning are the color of the lights which need to be orange, the design of Liea not being right for the seen (Where's her whit jumpsuit?) and Lando not being quite right either, ...
That's right, but 700 trans-orange plates 1 x 1 cost round about 60 Euros at bricklink, so I decided to use trans-yellow out of my stock. And of course, I have no cloud city. The white jumpsiuit ... öhem ... I forgot it. I thought she was wearing the dark-red one.

You did a great job designing this. A few parts I always have to mentioning are the color of the lights which need to be orange, the design of Liea not being right for the seen (Where's her whit jumpsuit?) and Lando not being quite right either, but unless you had the Cloud City set from 2003, I can overlook that. But the detail put in and the tequniques you used throughout the build are all still great.

Excellent build! The details are just awesome. It looks like the scene in the movie. It would be even better if all the trans yellow would be orange I think, but still awesome work!
