Faramir
About this creation
Faramir was the son of Denethor and brother of Boromir. His father always loved Boromir better than Faramir. Faramir was also the first Steward to the King in 969 years. He helped Frodo and Sam on their journey to Mordor by giving them provisions and walking sticks. He was one of the few Men in Middle-earth that did not desire to use the Ring. According to the movie however, he wanted to bring the Ring to his father to increase his favor with Denethor. He realized his mistake and sent Frodo, Sam, and Gollum on their way from Osgiliath.

This is my entry to my MOC-off with Stephen Boe

Repuired reference pic below:

This is the pic I used most when designing my character. I really didn't realize until just now that you can't really see a lot of detail. Ah well, he has the White Tree and a belt.

The vig was required but not to be judged as much as the minifig. I liked the idea of building a vig with this minifig that I decided to do it with all my figs from now on! Anyway hope you enjoyed!

Quoting Joe Hammond Cool custom torso. My son just built a Faramir using the Obi-Wan hair from the gunship and Fili's torso. Came out pretty good.
Thanks! If you have a picture posted I'd love to take a look at it :)

Quoting Alex Cal. Nice Job! Michael said that you made your own custom figs still for LOTR and yours are really good! I respect that a lot! Nice job with torso too. If you get a chance check out my older stuff (I just returned) but not my Faramir, it's bad...
Thanks! I mostly only make my own minifigs because I have only 3 LOTR/HOBBIT sets. Again thanks.

Excellent work! I'll hand it to ya, that torso is sweet. But to judge: Your opponents fig was purist, and seemed to look more like Farimir. (To me, anyhow) Good job, but he gets my vote.

Quoting Timothy Wallace Actually, I was meaning dark tan, I apologize for the confusion.
No prob! I actually ran out of the dark tan sleeves.

Quoting Timothy Wallace Great job, Evan! Though I'd suggest sand colored arms, but that's just me. Ok, on to the judging. Though I thought your opponent had the better choice of colors, his was fairly cluttered. And was missing the tree. Though I loved his purist version, you got my vote in the end.
Thank you for the vote! If (when you say sand arms) you mean tan colored then he already has those.

Quoting David the Fire Ninja Jedi Wow, this is a hard MOC-off to judge....in the end, I have to go you! You both have accurate minifigures. I like his choice of hair and head better, but then your torso won me over, great competition!
Thank you!

Cool. This might be hard for the judges to find a winner.

Quoting Stephen Boe Nice entry! I like the use of that hairpiece, it captures his wavy hair nicely, though it might be a little too long, but still great build, and good vig too!
Thanks!
