Type 120 "Komodo" Main Battle Tank
The Type 120 "Komodo" is the latest MBT from the Eurasian Alliance. Using state-of-the-art technology and battlefield experience, EA engineers have created the world's most advanced tracked weapon system.
About this creation

Mine plough for... well, ploughing mines! (It ploughs people too!) There is a mine roller chained on there as well.

Armaments include a 125mm Smooth bore main gun, a .50 cal MG slaved to the main gun for use as a secondary range finder if the laser system fails, and a 7.62mm light MG at the commander's hatch.

The hull and turret are covered in reactive armor blocks.

Engine access

New gasoline/diesel hybrid generates 1400hp

Tools, parts, and extra equipment can be stowed on the back of the turret.

BOOM!

There are 8 smoke dischargers on the front of the turret.

Thanks Nightmare! I always enjoy hearing your opinion. When I build something like this I often consider, "How would this fare against one of Nightmare's tanks?" Perhaps that's just the old Conflict rivalry! ;-)

Sorry for not commenting yet, currently I've been short of free time so I've only been adding likes to creations. You deserve a proper comment, and even more so on a creation that's really great. As usual you've added a lot of details, and in general this seems well thought out. This is certainly a proper heavy tank if I've ever seen one, seems best for smashing its enemies to pieces, while being protected by heavier armor. Although I haven't followed this style in a while I certainly do appreciate it. 5*

Quoting jack kenyon With each tank, your skills get better and better. This is a fantastic design, I love the highly sloped armour, with all the countermeasures and details. The mine ploughs are also a fantastic design, which would never have occurred to me even if I had the pieces! If you have ever seen my MBT3. Tyrant series of vehicles, the ploughs on mine are fairly basic by comparison.
The original plough was quite simple but I kept redesigning it. I have seen you MBT3. I love the combat engineer version. The crane is awesome enough for me to "borrow" your design! ;-)

Great details, such as that periscope in front of the commander and the lifting engine covers. The plough looks great, with all of those inverted snowshoes creating a super pattern.

Quoting Matthew Sylvan Love all the ERA blocks! Luckily, I upgraded the Chynska, so it's on par with this. Does it have a suspension?
No suspension. Maybe on the next one. You going to post the Chynska Mk II?

Awesome, the whole tank is great! I like the commander's periscope! And BTW, the technical term for 'slaved to the main gun' is 'co-axial'; so you could say "A 50 cal MG co-axial with rangefinding capabilities". Great tank, and keep up the awesome work!

Quoting JS Can Massive! Really nice tank. Side note: In the first photo is almost looks like the barrel of the main gun is attached to the mine sweepers.
Noticed that after I uploaded the pic. Oh well...

Quoting Senator Chinchilla . That reflective armor (the repetitive square bits, if I'm using the incorrect term) is really well done, and the whole thing is just nice.
"Reactive" armor actually, but yeah that is what it is supposed to be. ;-)

Quoting Achintya Prasad Mr. Stalhman, before I comment about this MOC, let me first say, after reading your homepage, thank you for your service to our nation. Soldiers are rarely appreciated, and that is simply not right. I salute you for your service and hope that you live life to the fullest! Now, onto the MOC. Overall, just a solid build. Very nice, very smooth, easily in my top ten tanks!
Thanks! It was an honor to serve!
