Last to enter Round 1, last to enter Round 2... let's hope this doesn't become a habit.
About this creation
Requirements:
Link to the Middle Earth MocAthalon.
Link to my brilliant opponent Petric G. and his entry.
In the Dwarven Bracket, my category is: Dale:
Use your Imagination for this category! Draw what you imagine the ruins of Dale to look like after Smaug visited, when Thorin was a young dwarf.

Yeah, this isn't ruins, but I asked the judges and they said it was fine to build a pre-Smaug Dale.

These things are definitely not my strong suit. I think I'll leave the trees to Mark Erickson in the future.

A couple shares a, er... private moment.

The poor gentleman is scandalized.

Thanks to A P for the roof technique.

And an overview shot.

Thanks for the look, and good luck to all the other contestants!

Soli Deo Gloria,
A M

Quoting Alex Rode I honestly think I'm your biggest fan. The side ways rocks are a stroke of genius, the bridge is beyond my comprehension, and the textures and tree are both beyond my years. Wow.
Wow, thank you very much for the incredibly kind comment! Don't sell yourself short, though--my mosaic ability is vastly beneath yours. Everyone has their strengths! :)

This is brilliant, from the SNoT steps/rocks and curved bridge to the neat transition from pavement to (slope? ramp?). Just an amazing MOC altogether.

Beautiful, beautiful build! I love all the SNOT work in this, very masterful! I also like how you've used hints of olive throughout the build, particularly in that cheese-slope roof. The er...couple and the scandalized gentleman made me smile. ;) Well done!

Wow! Such awesome detailing! I like the curved path up the hill, even if it is a little steep. I really like that tree trunk (you, like me, probably lack sufficient tree leaves...) awesome! :)
