1969 Dodge Polara CHP
Made by Isaac. What's this? A police car (That's also a muscle car)? Definitely a first for me, but absolutely. The 1969 Dodge Polara has long been considered the pinnacle of police-car performance: with a 375hp 440 under the hood, heavy-duty suspension, and monstrous brakes, it was more muscle car than a lot of muscle cars were in those days. Plus, as the old saying goes, nothing outruns a radio. Built for LUGNuts 69th build challenge...Summer of '69!

Holy cow, I just noticed your mirror design, brilliant! By the way, do the wheels on your cars actually turn? They look really good but I'm wondering if they are functional too.

My personal favorite police car (black and white anyway) is the 1970 Dodge Corenet, but this one is still nice. But this one is better because it is LEGO. :D I love the details on the rear, the bumper is perfect. Your as good at building 5 wides as I am at building 8s. Great job, now build a 1973 Mustang Fastback for it to chase!

Quoting Jesse Long Shouldn't this be a Dodge Polaris or were the Polaris and the Polara two different vehicles? At any rate, my dad had a 1962 Dodge Polaris and, under the right circumstances, it could also make for a good potential muscle car, too.
There was no Dodge Polaris haha, I think you mean Polara. It was actually the Monaco that was fairly similar to the Polara.

Great choice of subject matter and a very cool MOC. You gotta love a 440, especially with a six pack on it. Mopar muscle!

cool police car! the first pic with lights on is great! a ref pic would ve help to see how close you are, since 69 is pretty far, the tech specs are impressive, well done!

Really nice job! It's no small feat to build a 6-wide car and have it be immediately recognizable.
