i Brick Contests MOC-Off - Stephen Boe vs. Beardless Dwarf
My entry for a MOC-Off between Beardless Dwarf and I. The category was LOTR Minifigures and we chose to build Faramir. I hope you like this MOC!

Here is the required reference pic.

Now to the MOC. Really, there isn't very much to say.

It would be cool if TLC could make a different quiver so that the arrows tipped to the right of the Minifigure's body. That would come I handy for this figure because Faramir can't get his arrows with his right hand since he's holding the bow already.

The back of the vig, The quiver looks like its choking Faramir, doesn't it?

My custom technique for holding a sword. I tried to find a sheath technique but I couldn't find one I liked so I made my own.

The vig without the minifig. It's supposed to look like the lands of Ithilien. In some places it was rocky and in others it had a lot of plains so I tried to include both kinds of landscapes.

Thanks for looking! Please rate and comment, I would appreciate it very much!

Quoting David the Fire Ninja Jedi Wow, this is a hard MOC-off to judge....in the end, I have to go with Beardless Dwarf. Such an accurate minifigure. I like your choice of hair and head better, but then Beardless's torso won me over, great competition!
Oops, I forgot to say something to you too, David. Thanks for your opinion. This was a very fun first MOC-Off. I look forward to future i Brick Contests!

Quoting David . Well, I have to hand it to him, Evans Torso was better. However, I thought yours was closer to the movie character, and also, it's purist. :D You have my vote.
Thanks! At least I know I had a vote!

Quoting Timothy Wallace Great job, Stephen! Though the cluttered look of it isn't pleasant. Ok, on to the judging. Though I thought you had a great purist version, with great colors. Your opponent had a more accurate rendition, because of the tree , and the hair. Though I loved your purist version, your opponent got my vote in the end.
Thank you for your honest opinion. This was a great first MOC-off and I had a lot of fun building this. Congratulations to Evan. Now, even though we know who won, we need to have the last judge's vote...I already asked David .
