About this creation
Front view of the JcPenney Department store. The materials provided by the customer was a vintage Lego set 6380 purchased for $70 US Dollars. That was our budget. We had to use only the Lego bricks that were on that set to built a department store.
The store was made following the customer specifications. They wanted a store almost the size of the baseplate
The customer specified that they wanted a grand entrance with yellow decorative lights on top.
The customer wanted a spacious interior to accommodate the various store departments.
This is the Men's department.
This is the Women's Department.
This is the Home Accessories department.
This is the customer service desk and cash register desk. It came out very neat the crew did an excellent job!
That is the Fitting Room.
The store has a sliding door in the grand entrance. Now its closed.
The sliding doors when open.
The back door is for merchandise deliveries.
The back wall of the store is made up of 6x10 baseplates joined together by 2x1 plates. Notice the 'rubber' speed bump on the delivery driveway. The bump serves a double purpose as it helps to keep the wall in place.
