Singer Porsche
Singer Vehicle Designs in Los Angeles (singervehicledesign.com/) builds what they believe is the ultimate Porsche 911. I've been obsessed with this car for a couple of years and it was a really fun one to build. The car’s base is a 964-chassis (1989–1994) 911 shell, dipped and chemically treated. Part of the front crash structure is removed and an oil cooler beautifully integrated into the chin, allowing for the prettier “long” hood worn by pre-1974 911s. A carbon-fiber roof is bonded in, and the rear fenders are replaced with wider carbon panels. When you see the body in white sitting in Singer’s workshop, the quality of finish is staggering. The bespoke wiring loom alone costs somewhere around $30,000. Into this reengineered shell slides an air-cooled 3.8-liter flat-six. This two-valve unit starts out as a Porsche six—with a crankshaft borrowed from a 996-chassis 911 GT3—and is then modified and rebuilt by Cosworth to motorsport standards. Claimed output is 360 hp, with curb weight somewhere around 2600 pounds. The suspension includes exotic-looking Öhlins three-way-adjustable dampers.

I've seen a couple of 911 here on mocpages; I just think it is the best looking of them all! Very nice shape, great lines, ... => PERFECT! 5/5

Quoting Ezra Dimas Wait, so the baggage compartment has no floor? Otherwise, this is an exquisitely executed MOC!
I left it open to show off my front wishbone suspension which actually works and to leave a little room for adding in steering that connects up to the steering wheel.

Really nice job! While I agree with some of the other commenters about the length of the wheelbase, the lines on this model are unmistakeably Porsche. Great details.

I agree with Aaden: The wheelbase is a little short, but the rest is fantastic. Great job! :-))

Brilliant! Although its a little short, it's still a great build! I love that engine, amazing attention to detail!

As others mentioned, it's on the short side. Maybe you could add an additional 3 studs of wheelbase length. But other than that, it's very well done. -LB Jr.

I dont get it... The shapes and tecniques are excellent, but it looks like somebody ran away with half of the car... Why so short, what gives¿?

I like the engine, and the total lay out of the car. Nice work!

That engine is a masterpiece! Great Porsche shaping around the fenders and bumpers. That roof is spot on too! The wheelbase borders on 'chibi' car, but it looks good anyway.

Really classy build! Looks super but the wheelbase is a little on the short side. Love your style though!
