The Firestar
A lost ship from the golden age
About this creation
The Firestar was a ship designed by Captain Arcanís father prior to his death. It is incredibly fast, looks slick, and epitomizes the ship-building style of the golden age of exploration.

A shot thatís been sitting in my imagination since I was six

The thrust vectoring nozel

The main boarding ramp

Closed

The cargo loading hatch

The secondary boarding hatch

Maintenance hatch

Racing-strype-esque paintjob.

A small detail

A shot down the topside hatch

With no hull panels

The second seat in the cockpit is slightly cramped, but offers nice views of space and high atmosphere

The control panel

The secondary navigation station

Storage for Arcanís helmet

Another technical station

The primary display folds down to allow access to the main cabin

Arcan sitting at the secondary nav station

The hatch open from within

And closed

Captain James Arcan. This post is also introducing my Sig-Fig

With helmet

Standing next to the projection of Nikita, the shipboard AI of the UES Thunder Child

Pointing his MA9J Assault Rifle at you

His rifle

ďHelloĒ

Boarding the Firestar

Sitting at the controls

Flying off

Fourth Surface, though technically itís the sixth:
This is actually quite an old MOC, I just didnít want to post it without Captain Arcan, and until two days ago, my camera wasnít good enough. Iím pretty happy with this MOC, and that second image is one that sticks in my mind. If you havenít noticed, it was somewhat inspired by the Hyperion from Skyland.

Quoting joshua jacobson hi there have you finished your handing machine for the contest? I'm very concerned.
Unfortunately it's been delayed due to personal matters. I decide a fighting machine would be easier, and need only to build the tentacles and heat ray.

Quoting Alex Sonny The shape and the interior are very well designed, but the exterior could use some more details (greebles mostly). There should be a Mark 2 coming soon :D
Mmm. I left out greebles on this ship because of the retro-ish look I wanted. But I may yet make a Mark II with greebles.
