The Chasovoy class satellite is the Unions newest addition to itís secret global intelligence buro (SGIB). It posseses much better equipment than the older Interpellator class satellites.
About this creation
Itís equipment give it the skills to see everything, and even hear everything. From normal day conversations to private phone calls, the Chasovoy gets the job done. Also, unlike the previous satellite, it does have a defensive system that protects the satellite from missiles and so called Ďsabotage satellitesí.
One of these defense systems is the Ďshifratorí. This piece of equipment can scramble communications at a relative close range, meaning weapons canít get any commands from earth for a period of time. Even so, it is possible to turn these weapons against their own builders.
Another defense system are itís small boost jets. Since it can detect virtually anything on the ground and air, it can also detect incomming missiles or satellites which seek to destroy the Chasovoy. The boost jets give the satellite a small boost so it can avoid being hit or sabotaged directly.
Ofcourse this comes with a price, and itís very high. Rumors said it is ten times more expensive than the Union previous satellite. The Unions design buro ordered a new satellite class where no expenses would be spared in order to make it one of the most advanced satellites in the world. The Chasovoy is the result and proof that it is.
The original prototype was much smaller than the final version. As with many later Union vehicles it was just an enlarged version of the lighter satellite.
The Interpellator class satellite, which is replaced by the Chasovoy-1. As you can see it's much less advanced and rather plain and simple compared to the Chasovoy.
