The EADS Vigar, named after the scandinavian god of venegance, is a state-of-art drone. It features the newest VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) engine system and uses low observable stealth technology. Due to its movable engine, the Vigar is well-situated for service onboard aircraft carriers or amphibious assault ships.
Based on advanced avoinics and a ernomous range, the drone could perform autonomous missions for thousands of kilometers while being undetected. Powerful radar and infrared sensors on the plane can detect enemy planes, and recognize it because of an internal database. This feature allowes the Vigar to combat enemies fully autonomously with the suitable tactics.
The armament usually consists of two short range air-to-air missiles and a cruise missile or small guide bomb but a wide bandwide of weapons is availble. Two weapon bays under the wings and a wider main weapon bay under the plane are avaible.
