Built for Brickworld 2013 as part of the "Wonka" collaborative. These builds represent all the chocolaty goodness of Mr. Willy Wonka's factory, the demise of undeserving children, and the simple heroics of Charlie Bucket. Welcome to the Nut room!
About this creation
"'That particular chute," Mr. Wonka told [Mr. Salt],'runs directly into the great big main garbage pipe which carries away all the rubbish from every part of the factory–all the floor sweepings and potato peelings and rotten cabbages and fish heads and stuff like that.'"
Mr. Salt watches the demise of his greedy daughter, Veruca.
Squirrels sorting nuts on the great table. The bad nuts are rolled down chutes to the incinerator.
More squirrels. These cost me a small fortune on bricklink.
Charlie and his Grandfather look through the glass at the sorting table.
I call this photo "The Screams of a Spoiled Child," in the fashion of Roald Dahl.
