Sculpture of Marvel Comics vigilante "The Punisher"
About this creation
This sculpture was for my display with Bricks & Minigs along with NMLUG at Albuquerque Comic EXPO 2013. I wanted to show a few large pieces and thought that The Punisher would most definitely be appreciated by expo attendees.
When I arrived on day 2 of the expo, my fellow LUG members told me that I had a buyer interested in purchasing it. Before the buyer inquired about this one, he bought a free standing miniature Punisher Skull from me. To see the mini version, please check out this page. "Punisher Skull (miniature version)"
Personally, I prefer the classic version but I went with this one so younger generations who saw the newer movies and played the newer games would be able to relate better. The buyer did too, so we agreed that it would get a revamp as the classic version.
This is freakin' awesome! You have superbly recreated the Thomas Jane version of the skull. I'd like to see you tackle some of the other types he's had over the years. I've been a fan of the Punisher for as long as I can remember. If you're a fan too, I have several models you might like to check out, figures, skulls, and a van. Again, excellent work.

Simply splendid, one of my favourite comic book icons translated beautifully into Lego. This must look quite smashing hung on wall. Cheers on a fine effort.

Looks just like it! Beautiful work!
Thank you both very much and thank you both for visiting. You see, that is exactly the reason I first built it in the first place. I just knew that other Punisher fans would appreciate this MOC. Again, thank you.

I've missed your creations; great to see you back and posting.
You are too kind David. I've missed all my friends here too. To make your day, I showed 20 pieces at Albuquerque Comic EXPO 21st - 23rd. After which I spent a few days in photo sessions with all those MOCs. Now it's time to get them up here where they belong. Thanks buddy! :D
