Small but mighty, Thorn the pixie is on an epic quest to save her little cousin from the evil monsters of Sector B!
About this creation

The journey across the island called Uk was a long and arduous one, especially for someone five inches tall. She flew south through gales and trudged through falling snow and across slippery ice, before finally arriving at Sector G.

The scene when she arrived in her auntie's tree was welcoming, and so were her sons, but... what about her daughter? The youngest? Spore...?

Spore has been missing for more than a year. Actually... come to think of it, that's a little bit odd... Briar last saw her talking to a strange, monocled, black and white fellow trying to hide behind some leaves. They disappeared into Creator's realm, and were never seen since...

The realm of the Creator is rumoured to be a mad, twisted place full of wild beasts, monsters and ghosts!

Just the job for an epic pixie hero!

Thorn is pretty much "fan art" of Rahiden's Hero Faffory series on DeviantArt. Entering into a quasi-canon realm stands Thorn, mighty pixie hero - and Spore's cousin. Thorn comes from Yorkshire and has a really broad accent. Her mission is to rescue Spore from the clutches of The Creator! Which, if you follow the comic... isn't as simple (or appropriate) as she makes it out to be.

I love the style Thorn is built in. She puts me more in mind of a dreamworks character (in fact she's inspired a little bit by Astrid from HTTYD) than a bio-MOC, the focus being almost entirely on characterisation. She barely has a greeble on her, but on the other hand her colour scheme is possible the most bizarre i've used yet. The torso design is really simple and easy to replicate with currently-on-the-market parts, so I added an LDD file with building instructions for those of you with the program to poke it as you see fit. :)

Strangely, Thorn here isn't actually my first "fairy" type MOC. Sylph,Ia and even Gringat are all inspired by them too.

Only you can pull off a moc soo weird and colorful and make it unique and good... I've always been jealous of you. How did you get silver into the HF arms (bones) ? The upper body is possibly my favorite part of this moc <3 :) Not a huge fan of how the wings are attached but seeing what you had to work with, it's good enough. I'm SOO glad you are still making Mocs :D

Quoting Leaith Flex With so many colours you'd expect it wouldn't look very nice but this is just perfect. Amazing moc. PS how did you get the You Tube embed thing to work, everyone's been having some troubles recently so that would be a nice help :D
The old embed code still works fine, it's just that you can't get it off YouTube directly anymore. I copied the code block off another MOC's page and changed the video URL in the code.
Quoting Robot Bro Cool! I love the turquoise and sand green on it. Do you think you could check this and my other MOCs when you get a chance http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/363695
I have been keeping an eye on your MOCs, don't you worry. It's always interesting when new MOCers arrive on the scene! ;D
Quoting legoguy 1160 I hate to intrude on your latest MOC, Gringat, but you've left your entire repugnant group hanging for over a month without explanation. Please, at the very least give us a reason for your lack of activity. That aside, this is an awesome MOC.
Really? That long? :I I have the next contest planned, so be on the lookout in the next few days.

Finally, some hero factory MOCs! It's good to see that you don't only work with bionicle. While bionicle will always be infinitely better, hero factory exists as another tool for MOCing and it should not be ignored. Well done. :)b

Personally, I'd usually complain about autoplay, but the track fits this Moc so well... "Surprisingly" enough, the color actually makes it look like a normal fantasy character! Seriously good job on this, just goes to show that real people usually have more than 5 colors on their outfits. Combined with the music, this is one of my favorites of yours. Tenouttaten

Fantastic! Now this is a Character, with capital 'C'. Who said complexity and comfortable color schemes make a good MOC?

Well... this is interesting... but seriously, "Falling snow" in the UK? We don't get snow in Britain!!! Only sludge!! (Well at least down south, and you did say she's a northener xD)

You made a good MOC, the color sceem is a little random but if you can get past that, it a pretty good MOC.

Though a bizarre choice, the colors actually work out really well. Also, a pixie hero? That HAS to be a first on the pages. All in all, nice job, and good luck! :D

Hmm... While I love the color combination, I find the legs too dark. I accept the idea that she is wearing boots, but anyways, a bit more of color on the thighs would have been better. In the other hand, I really like how did you made her clothes. Also, she has nice designs, like the hair or the torso. I really like her look. =3 By the way, could you tell me how you did the jacket, dear? It's wonderful...

Looks pretty cool, the colors are just too flashy for my tastes though. I mean, I understand that's how they're suppossed to be, but still. Everything else looks awesome though.

He cut along the side and slipped it around the axle part. How you did manage to make this work with so many colors is beyond me.

Quoting Gale Winthrope HowhowhowhowhowHOW did you get those flex tubes on those upper arm bones?! Looks fabulous otherwise, great design, but still. HOW?!
I cheated. :3 Cut 'em lengthwise and clipped them around like a bracelet. It's something I've done with my MOCs ever since the beginning, even if it's not exactly purist XD
