Title(s): Toa, Coach
Place of Origin: Rapa Nui
Occupation: Coach for the Ga-Rapa Kohli team
Tools: Twin blades
Being a sports star is hard. For Cervatus, he's just a normal celebrity trying to fit into the quiet villages on the coastlines of Ga-Rapa. After all though, he is the best Kohli player on the entire continent. What's a better way to spend your free time than teaching kohli to the local kids?
Cervatus came from a very hard neighborhood in Ga-Rapa, and the slums that he grew up in only strengthened his demeanor. With an attitude as hot as a Fire Spitter, he put his heart and soul into everything that he did. His favorite thing to do was to play kohli. After he finished his schooling (he wasn't a smart guy, but his impressive kohli skills earned him a reputation), he got an offer to play with the Ga-Rapa kohli team. This was the start of a career, he essentially became the best player the team ever had. Due to his great skills, he earned the nickname of "The Brute."
After a long and prosperous career playing as the leader of the Ga-Rapa team, he decided to retire. Shortly after, he somehow became a toa (not much of this part of his life is known). He retired to his giant hut in the most exclusive village in Ga-Rapa, but he longed to play kohli again. He noticed that the Ga-Rapa team wasn't doing too well since he retired, so he wanted to teach them how to play properly. He became the coach and history was made - Ga-Rapa was back on top as the top kohli team again!

There, it is done. My 2013 Bio-Cup entry is finished! :D
I took apart Galvis for this build, it was the right thing to do. Cervatus stands at 9.5 inches, and is pretty damn posable! Cervatus is only my second biobuild in the past 6 months, it's extremely nice to get back into Bio-moccing! If you can't tell from the photos, Cervatus is completely custom, with the exception being the head. The lower arms were a pain to design, considering that I wanted to have a sleek design but not have them too bulky. Same goes for the lower legs, I think I did pretty well on those.

Man, this is awesome. The bulk is flawlessly done, and you made excellent use of the Hero factory armor pieces as well as the hockey chestplate and the Bohrok parts in the lower limbs. Though they come from all different themes, those pieces just seem to fit together perfectly. I also love the distribution of colors here, the blue and gunmetal makes for an excellent combo, but the bits of red peaking out at the joints add just the right amount of spice. The backstory is a nice touch, very unique as far as Bionicle backstories go!
Quite the brawler you've entered here. The comically large chest, tight use of HF armour and overall style make it exceptional. I initially gave you a 7, but after looking at it again, especially those boots, you get an extra point. Have at thee!
Well, it looks simple, but is actually quite complex. I like that. The colors also work pretty well, although I'd like to see a little more red around. Also, I'm not a fan of the plate choice for the lower legs. Something more streamlined would've worked better. Still, 8 points.
Great entry! I can see he is very well built, but I think you overdone a bit with the HF plating, making he look much more simple than he actually is. Still, you made everything seem to somehow fit in it's right place. A solid entry indeed! Your score: 8
This is a surprisingly good use of so much HF: I think it's a testament to your ability that you managed to make it look so closed, when HF is so prone to causing reverse-surface gaps. Nice clamshelling, nice layering, and I really like what a simple, single layer of 1Xstud System bricks did for the bottoms of the feet. Overall robo-footballer look to him, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. 8 points, Kyle, and good luck!
It's about time dude...Anywho, you did great! Though the hip area is a bit slim.

I like it! The proportions are nice especially the buff upper body really goes with his character. My main problem is that everything seems to smooth and plain, I know this is a side effect of using so much Hero Factory plating but it just feels like it's lacking in details, also the hips are a bit small and I feel they could using some armour. Other than that I would say job well done!
I'm happy you took my advice and maintained that color layering, for the most part. My main problem with the MOC is the torso, since the blue chest armor seems to just jut out of his chest. It looks good in an angled photo, with a higher vantage point. But otherwise, it's a bit troublesome. Maybe some other type of armor would have worked, although I was never sure on what. Maybe just filling out the area underneath in general would solve the problem. Also, personally, I would have liked to see a more creative head, something roboting maybe, to fit the overall look. But still, this is a pretty cool MOC. Good job bro.
